This mat is exactly what I was expecting. Easily fits a 1000 piece puzzle and rolls up. Any puzzle bigger than this it’ll fit but you may need to keep the unsolved pieces somewhere else. Perfect fit for purpose.

Decided to buy one of these because I have cats that love to jump on tables so I just wanted to be able to put them away when I'm not working on them. The mat was not placed in the box properly and it had the worst creases and it just wasn't pleasant to use. The outline/guide for the 1000pc puzzles aren't correct. Tried to iron the mat to flatten the surface, even at the low setting, the mat still melted and it stuck on the iron. So not only do I have a terrible, useless puzzle mat, I also ended up with a broken iron that can no longer be used! Ugggghhh!Would NOT recommend to anybody. Just spend a little bit more to get a better quality one.

I bought this today and wish I had not bothered. It does not stay still. Moves all over and creases up. Flimsy quality. Roll function is poor and as may is so flimsy it does not keep puzzle together well. I bought for my child who has autism and loves puzzles and up to do doing 1000 pieces but not all at one time o hoped this would be ideal. Please look for a better product so you are not disappointed too. Sadly I have left a negative review as there are no good points to this purchase :-(
I totally misunderstood what this product would be like. I had expected the roll to be semi-rigid so that I could do the puzzle on the green and then roll it up. However, the green is just a bit of thin felt so a puzzle board or table surface is still required. The tube comes in 3 sections and it is all a bit flimsy. I'm off to buy a flat puzzle board.
For a budget concious solution this works very well, it is lightweight, not too big to be impractical in use and I was able to clear my table for dinner quickly. I wonder if storing a puzzle rolled up for too long may bend the pieces but I unrolled after a week and it was fine, just needed a couple of reconnections and smoothing by hand to make it right. Arrived in good time and in perfect condition.
This is misleading-puzzle and roll-so i thought,mistakenly,that you actually get a puzzle with it as well-i should have looked closer at description,but on reading other reviews its not even worth my keeping it to use with other pack of ten puzzles i bought if it doesnt do as its suposed to! I might still send it back yet-but im not sure how long you get to return items! It seems like a flimsy large toilet roll middle!
-It's basically a large piece of felt fabric, with a giant cardboard roll to roll it up on, and 2 elastic ties.-The fabric comes very creased and bumpy so needs to be ironed before use (but don't iron directly onto the paint markings)-The jigsaw pieces do not stay perfectly in place after being unrolled. Some re-assembly required.-The white paint outlines were handy, especially when doing the boarders first
just a budget felt mat with grid. you could make it yourself cheaper than advertised. such a rip off
Grandaughter has just discovered an interest in jigsaw puzzles and was likely to receive several for Christmas.I already have a similar role and find it useful. It certainly saves breaking up a half finished puzzle if the one and only table is needed at mealtimes. The material was rather stiff and bumpy, so I hope it flattens out in use.Maybe needs a steam iron before using.
