We read the reviews online and I was a bit sceptical as im use to 4 burners or at least 3 burners. But this BBQ changed my mind. We were able to fit 4 4quarter chops and 6 meat patties as well as some onions in the gaps. The heat responded well to change in temps door opened or closed cooked the food amazingly. Recommend this little beast. We have a family of 3 adults 1 child and having this BBQ just made the day pleasurable. The smell and aroma and the way it cooked was just incredible that this 2 burner could do what it does and im looking fwd to experience more of what it has to offer over Xmas holidays.

I don't do reviews much but this BBQ impressed me and my family so much i'm telling others how good it is. 100% worth the $199. (Im a real person and this is not sponsored)I was looking at a weber with the half hot plate was going to cost over $430 so this jumbuck is literally less than half the price for a better product.I spent $1,000 on a webber family BBQ at home and this Jumbuck one honestly cooks better. I am that impressed!!- Easy to clean- Cooks steaks perfect, high heat- Great control with 2 burners so you can use one side and have the other off.

I purchased this about 6 weeks ago, we are family of 6 and use it on the road often. Stopping at a rest point and cooking up a wee feast while on a road trip is very cool. It heats quickly and pretty evenly. Often these small BBQs won't perform well with a full load but this one definitely does. Cooks a good steal or sausie. Nearly splurged and bought a Weber but this one definitely has great bang for its buck! Fits in the boot easily, cleans up nicely too. Great investment!

This portable bbq has been great for our family of 4. Took no time to put together and is easy to take on picnics or camping as well as using at home. I love that it has half hot plate and half grill. It heats up quickly and is plenty big enough to feed the family. The heat spreads evenly and the temp gauge in the hood is perfect for doing roasts. We also got the jumbuck trolley to go with it, but sits steady on a table too. Highly recommend.
Bought this today as a cheap alternative to a Weber Q. Picked up the version with the standard gas connector (no way to tell on the box which one it is) and also the stand, which is an optional extra. The BBQ itself is very simple to set up, just four screws and washers to secure the unit to its own stand, then clip on the side trays, easy. The stand I purchased however, while cheap, certainly had some corners cut in the manufacturing process. There was a misaligned hole on one of the beams which meant the push pin (that has to go through 2 beams) wouldn’t go through straight. This meant I had to get creative and widen the hole on one end to make it work. Also, the caps to secure the wheels can be annoying to do unless you have someone to help you hold the other ... MoreBought this today as a cheap alternative to a Weber Q. I found the axle bar would slide out each time I tried until I had someone hold the other end securely. The BBQ itself fired up very quickly on first attempt, both sides producing an even flame. After a good clean of the hot plate and grill, and then 30 mins over heat, then some oil to season, we were ready to roll. The BBQ outputs a lot of heat for a small unit, though does get cooler at the edges. This is pretty standard though and certainly didn’t make cooking difficult or uneven, as long as you rotate your food as it cooks.Overall, for the price, I can’t complain, certainly better than I expected, but let’s see how it goes over time.
I purchased this barbecue as a friend had told me he had wished he had bought this one instead of another big brand well known bbq that only had single burner capability. I was sceptical at first, but i thought even if it wasnt what i wanted, it wasnt going to break the bank either way and so took a double burner home .To say i am impressed would be an understatement, this bbq is really really well built , it cooks everything i have thrown at it perfectly ! From steaks , to ribs and everything inbetween ! It is very good on gas compared to my other bbq and has a very good heat retention when cooking with the lid down , i have used it for low and slow briskets and legs with very very good results. I would highly recommend this bbq to anyone looking to save a lot of ... MoreI purchased this barbecue as a friend had told me he had wished he had bought this one instead of another big brand well known bbq that only had single burner capability. I would highly recommend this bbq to anyone looking to save a lot of money on other products that really just dont stack up to this one. Its portability and price tag alone is enough reason to purchase one,tie that together with how easy it is to clean and the quality culinary results it puts out is a no brainer .. do yourself a favour ! You will definitely not be dissapointed with this bbq.
I bought this about two months ago for our caravan.I enjoy using it so much I haven’t used our house bbq since. The two burners are great and if there’s only the two of you, you only have to use one side. Less than half the price of the one most Caravanners use and is better for the fact of the two burners. Recommend this product.
A nice compact BBQ that looks the good but does not deliver them. The plates take an awful long time to heat up, and they never get hot enough to sear steaks. It would be a great unit for slow cooking but is absolutely rubbish for a quick BBQ. I will be going back to my 6 burner from now on. Would return the unit if I could but it is now used.
Bought this a while back, and it's pretty much been a waste of money. Now it could be me, but I simply can't cook meat on this. It's so hot, even on low settings, that I just burn the outside every time, while the inside stays uncooked. Spend the extra money for a Webber.
I bought this a month ago and I’ve been giving it a good test run before reviewing.I have to say impressed. Holds its own against the bigger brands and does well. Nice and portable, I took it away for the weekend and cooked all our meals on it when camping. Very handy size, you can wash the hot plates in the sink if you like.As others said, it does have hot spots and cool spots, but every BBQ I’ve owned has had this, that’s the nature of gas burners, it’s not unique to this brand. I love mine and I’ll be using it for years to come, and because I can store it on a shelf in the garage it won’t get wrecked in the weather like my big bbq did. Do buy!
