I purchased this product to assist my daughter who likes to stay in control. (OCD and spectrum). Our stories are shared between 3 of us and they go all over the place with 3 different personalities. She knows that she can let loose and have fun while sharing the control and direction of the story/game.

We love these dice, and they are so helpful with creativity and imagination! There are other brands of story dice out there, but you can't beat how many you get, the variety of pictures, and the price with this set! I highly recommend if you're at all interested!

My niece simply loves these. She is seven and played with them for hours with her Nana. She came up with adorable stories. What a great way to stimulate creative thinking.

I bought this for my 6 year old grandson, who struggles with creative writing. This has been not only a fun way to get him started on a school assignment, whether creative or story response, but can be uses as a game to make up silly stories with a group, even with younger children.
We first learned of roll a story by getting a large story cube in a Chikfila kids meal. I was so happy to see that Rainbow Resource carries these! The grandkids love playing, and since there are several cubes, one person can use all of them or a group can take 1 or 2 each and continue (add on) to the story. Great for creative thinking!
Bought this to occupy my grandson when traveling, long plane rides, air port layovers, restaurant wait times, all those fidgety moments. Roll the dice, pictures prompt you to create your story. Lots of fun for whole family, creates thoughtful imagination and storytelling.
I bought this for my 9 yr old who struggles with writing. It is fun for the whole family to play around the dinner table or we roll and write our stories and then share them. It is interesting to hear the different variations based on the same prompts. It also makes my son feel like we are playing and not working while he practices writing!
The grandkids are loving these dice. They are telling simple stories right now, but are quickly learning how to embellish them. Some of the icons aren’t as obvious as they could be, but that is my only complaint. I have purchased a second set to keep at our house too.
My kids fight over this at times, it definitely a hit at our home. I homeschool a 9, 7, and a 3 year old so we use it during breaks with the older girls.I particularly love using it with my toddler as the images not only boost her sequencing skills but also help her dive deeper into imaginations!
These dice are a standard size (for a 6 sided die), and a good weight. They feel good, and the pictures are printed nicely and clearly and are easy to read. They are not etched into the faces, so there may be some wear and tear over time, but they look like they will hold up well. I like how each die has pictures in a different color so it is easy to tell them apart. Great for helping children get into creative story telling, but also a fun way for adults to break up writers block or for making snap decisions on minor details. The bag is not cloth, more of a nylon/plastic feel, but feels like it would be sturdy and has a nice (and easy to use) clasp that keeps it closed.
