The outside of the box is absolutely stunning. It has the classic Jurassic Park logo on the front, with a red banner that reads 30th Anniversary. In the bottom corner there's a notation that says it's part of the Hammond Collection. The box itself is a beautiful black matte material and you can see an embossed imprint of the T-Rex skeleton which is iconic for the logo. When you flip over to the back of the box on the back there is another Jurassic Park logo that indicates it is Jurassic Park 3. The back of the box also gives you a small description about the type of dinosaur contained within and when this creature was seen in the movie. I did have to apply a little bit of force to insert the tail peg into the body. I had to try twice and to make sure that the tail was secure. The first time I didn't push hard enough for fear of breaking the post, but on the second try when I gave it more force, I could feel it pop in to place.One of the nice things that I do like about this Ankylosaur dinosaur is the spikes that are on the sides of his body are really soft. They're a nice soft rubber which is great so that way it doesn't inflict any injury on the child while playing. The spikes on the top of his back are a hard plastic but they are small and there are no sharp points. Another feature about this dinosaur is its joints are poseable in multiple different ways so not only do his legs move at the regular shoulder joints and hip joints, but his legs also move at the kneecaps and ankles. And even his tail segments have multiple joints. His head can move left and right, as well as up-and-down. His mouth also has a joint that allows his bottom jaw to open and close.On the bottom of the back right foot of the dinosaur, there is an imprint of the Jurassic Park T-Rex skeleton. This is a good notation that it is part of the Jurassic Park collection. The coloration and the details of the dinosaur are very unique. The skin has a realistic look to some of components and you can see all the little detailed scales of this dinosaur. His body is quite sturdy and when you do pick up the dinosaur it does have some good weight to it. He is definitely a little on the heavier side than some of the other dinosaur figures that we have.The overall quality of this toy is superb. It's definitely worth the purchase. It's going to last for quite some time and create hours of enjoyment for any dinosaur lover. I would highly recommend purchasing this toy for your child, friend, or anyone who loves dinosaurs or is a fan of the Jurassic Park series. I have to admit being a collector, I was a little sad to open the toy for the children because the packaging was just so beautiful.Whether you're a purchasing this boxed item to add to your shelf collection or are looking to add a new dinosaur to your child's toy box and can't wait to tear open the box, I would say it's a must have for anyone. We are enjoying this new toy!

The Jurassic World Hammond Collection Ankylosaurus Is a wonderful toy. My 9 year old loves how realistic it looks with its colors and textures. It has movable legs and its tail and jaw move. It’s a wonderful addition to a dinosaur lovers collection. It’s packaging was very well done.

The Jurassic World Hammond Collection Ankylosaurus has got to be one of the sickest dinosaur toys I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying something since my Kiddo’s been obsessed with dinosaurs for half of their life. We were both pretty stoked to get this one out of the box and see it in its full glory (though it IS a pretty cool looking Anniversary box!). I was super impressed with all of the articulation on this toy, from realistic joints in the legs, the moving jaw, head and neck, and that TAIL! The tail was Kiddo’s favorite part for sure; knocking down several other dinos with was the first order of business with it. We also loved how natural this dino looks; highly detailed scales and spikes, excellent coloring, no obvious logos or “battle damage”. Jurassic World Hammond Collection Ankylosaurus is one of our favorites! Packaging is easy to open and the tail pops on in a snap. Ankylosaurus has realistic joints in legs, tail, neck and mouth for fun dramatic play. This toy is well made, with lots of detail, and super durable. Fun for hours of play or would be fantastic on display. Perfect gift for any dinosaur lover! Now my son wants the Tyrannosaurus Rex!
We took this on vacation with us so my boys would have something to play with in the hotel. All my boys have loved dinosaurs and Jurassic themed toys so I knew this would be a hit to add to their collection. Both my 10 and 3 year old boys fought over who would play with it the most so I'd say it was a hit. Sturdy and well made. Would even be a good collectible for those that collect in my opinion.

Jurassic World Hammond Collection AnkylosaurusWe have received our 30th Anniversary Edition Jurassic World Hammond Collection Ankylosaurus toy my son didn’t want to open the package because of it being a collector’s edition. He likes how life like this Ankylosaurus looks! The legs, feet, head move around and the mouth also opens. Packaging is very appealing so it grabs your attention!
This is a high quality, detailed, and sturdy dinosaur toy. Love that it looks realistic in color and design. It comes in two pieces, which you easily attach the tail to the body. The tail, neck, legs and feet are movable. You can also open and close the mouth. My 9 year old son was thrilled to see the toy and immediately added it to his collection to play.
This is probably the 2nd best Hammond Collection release, the 1st being the T-Rex. We get a proper segmented tail! Great sculpt and paint. Buttery smooth head and neck articulation! I love this figure. My only gripes are the connection points Mattel use for attaching the limbs to the body. They're inconsistent and sometimes cause loose joints. Mattel should consider going with a conventional ball and socket or beef up the current process.
