The Hammond Collection is a fantastic line, and in my experience, Target is the best place to get them. This figure is fantastic. I love the sculpt and paint here. I would like to see Mattel move to a segmented tail instead of that stupid bendy wire. The wire is not very effective and will eventually destroy the tail. The Ankylosaurus has an amazing segmented tail, so it can be done properly! I recommend this figure and I try to pick up at leat one of the Hammond releases.

The Hammond Collection introduces a new line of dinosaurs for kiddos who like to collect the whole lineup. The Concavenator is a new one to our family. The coloring and design of this dino are really neat and unique. It’s easy to put together - just snap the tail on. The only drawback is that my kids love scanning the little DNA chip, but the Hammond Collection series does not include that. This dinosaur doesn’t stand very easily on its own, it that doesn’t seem to bother my kids as they usually do dino battles, knocking them over. The quality is great, on par with others from the line. Great addition to our collection!

The Hammond Collection Concavenator is an awesome dinosaur figure. It has great articulation, is the perfect size for a toy, and has an intriguing and colorful paint application. It can be posed in a bunch of different ways and looks absolutely fierce with its mouth open. Whether you’re an adult collector or a kid who loves dinosaurs, this toy definitely deserves a place in your collection.
Mattel's Hammond Collection has given us many great figures at affordable prices. Highly recommend Concavenator. While it only appeared briefly in Lockwood Manor as a taxidermy mount, the figure is very accurate to the model shown in the movie. It may not be the best Concavenator toy out there (why does it have 4 digits? The Lockwood Manor one had 4 manual digits so it's screen-accurate, but it does bother me), but it is a very well made toy that will surely delight all Jurassic fans.
We are big Jurassic World fans and collect all the toys as they are released! With that being said the Hammond collection is one of the best collections I have seen. The detail that goes into each dinosaur is amazing. The concavenator has so many special features for kids to enjoy from being able to move the arms and legs around as well as the wide opening mouth. The colors are amazing and realistic which makes it even more fun for imaginative play. The toy in general is great in design and also durable.
Seeing this for the first time he was excited to play with it and he loved the colors and articulation! The way he could pose and the stunning detail had us playing with dinosaurs for hours. Excitement, curiosity, Fun are all words I’d use to describe this toy. Our son wanted to learn about the dinosaur and play at the same time. The colors were something else he noticed and the attention to detail was amazing. This toy is fun and durable. He literally takes him outside to play and even feeds him cookies lol. Any Dino lover will like the build, color, and quality. We recommend this toy and are happy to see durable dinosaurs again.

The concavenator is a great addition to my grandchildren’s Jurassic collection. Unpacking the concavenator requires a one time minor assembly by snapping the tail to the body. I would only recommend that if you have young children is to not let them see the Dino until the tail is attached. It’s flexibility allows for fun pretend time by allowing my grandchildren to pose the dinosaur in various ways. The concavenator has moveable legs, arms, mouth, neck and tail. Mattel has produced another quality Jurassic Park dinosaur with excellent detail and durability.
This Dino is so cool! My son was super excited to add such a unique dinosaur to his collection. The detailed movement of his neck and arms made him able to play in ways that a lot of his other toys are limited in due to lack of range of motion. He’s sturdy and has held up to all my son’s Dino fights. Overall, this guy is an excellent addition to any Dino lovers collect. I highly recommend getting him.
