One of the strongest releases of the year and a top figure contender especially at the price point when compared to other toy lines and the value you’re getting here. Being released simultaneously alongside the giganotosaurus kinda overshadows just how phenomenal this figure is but still…. One of the best dinosaur toys released at retail in decades!

It’s a great figure! The articulation on this thing is marvelous, the glass eye and detailed face really adds to the whole realism. It perfectly replicates the Therizinosaurus in the Dominion Movie. I bought this figure right when it came out. Mattel, I am very pleased, keep up the great work! Also, I have a stop motion review going up soon on my YouTube channel @Giganotion

I'll start by saying that the detailing on this dinosaur is amazing. The over all look and moving parts are a plus. My 12 year old son likes to make him chop at his other toys when he plays. The only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the tail not coming already attached bc it can be lost during rough play. But other than that I love it and it makes my son happy

Absolutely one of the coolest figures to be released in years. Easily worthy of being on a top 10 list for the year of 2024… Got it on sale of $25, especially when you compare what you’re getting to other lines and imports… This dinosaur has an amazing original one off sculpt, paint, articulation, a glass eye and it’s big & chunky! No comparison for the value of what you’re getting for the price point. Considering a standard marvel legend repaint figure retail for $25-$35 or a 6 inch mezco figure retails for $80-$113…. This toy at $35-$50 is leagues better in almost every way and I truly feel extremely happy with this purchase. Any dislikes or nitpicks I might have are really irrelevant when you consider the overall value and statement this piece makes!
The packaging was interesting and looked like the lights were glowing. It was easy to open. I understand why the tail was packaged disconnected because it is long but I wish it could be shipped attached. Regardless it snapped right in place. Every part of the dinosaur is fully positional from the head and mouth to the talons all the way to the feet. I was able to position the legs and feet so it would stand up on a hard surface by itself, pretty cool. My 9 year old son is really having fun with it which is nice for a break from video games. I look forward to seeing the other dinosaurs in the collection.
We enjoyed playing with this dinosaur. It is unique as we hadn’t seen a dinosaur like this with the long fingers. My son liked that the box looked kind of like a cage and could use it as part of his play. He also liked the larger size and realistic look to the dinosaur. He didn’t like that it was a little tricky to get it to stand up on its own.
This dinosaur is enjoyed by my 11 year old son. It has very accurate realistic features from the movie, Jurassic World. It is posable with its legs, tail and claws movable. Dinosaur loving children over age 8 will enjoy playing with it. Not for little ones as I don't think they should even be watching the movie, let alone playing with such a realistic looking scary dinosaur. It can stand on its own and my son recreates the action by having it chomp on little toys of his. Engaging and great toy for the older set of kids.
We love the details and all the articulation points. It looks great next to other collectibles but also feels durable enough to play with. It has a very nice, premium feel to it. You plug the tail into the body after opening, so kids might need some help. Although, this might just end up on a shelf for display!
Love the realistic colors and depth. Tail is squishy and makes it seem realistic. It feels like there’s a bone inside the tail which adds to the fun. Had a lot of fun putting him in different positions and making it seem he had different expressions. He has multiple articulation points. A lot of playability with this one.
This is one of the absolute best figures Mattel has ever produced for their Jurassic line! An excellent looking dinosaur in every respect; Mattel has perfectly recreated the look of the Dominion Therizinosaurus design. The sculpt has incredible feather, scale, and wrinkle detail and the paint apps are near perfection. Where this figure really shines is the articulation. Everything from the jaw to the neck to the individual claws are able to be posed and have full range of motion. This is one of my favorite dinosaurs in my collection and I have no doubt you will feel the same. At the very reasonable price of $39.99, this is one of the best figures of the year and a must own for any Jurassic fan. Get it while you can, because this is one you can't afford to miss!
