You need to download the just dance controller on your phone as your motion tracker while being connected to your ps5.You are able to play the songs that came out with the 2022 game, but older songs are locked and require just dance unlimited which you pay for. If you bought just dance 2022 it comes with 1 month free trial to play the locked songs.You are able to play with another person next to you as well.:)

Just Dance 2022 for Nintendo Switch has been an absolute hit in my household. The game offers endless fun and excitement, with a wide variety of energetic and catchy songs to dance to. The intuitive motion controls and clear on-screen instructions make it easy for kids (and adults) to jump right in and start grooving. Great, but need subscription

I got this to help with working out at home. I switch it up with my other workout game. It really does make you work up a sweat if you’re constantly doing it for a good 30-45 min. It’s just another way to keep our bodies moving at home. However, it comes with such limited songs/dances and most I’ve never heard of. I did get the 30 day trial subscription to access the full song list which has hundreds of songs. I hate that it’s an extra $25 for a years subscription but I’ll most likely pay it when the trial is over because it has some great songs and dance options. The only consolation of paying this is that I got the actual game for cheap (~$8). But could never imagine paying for it full price with no songs available.

Half & Half

I was unsure how much I would enjoy this game on the Nintendo Switch with the motion sensors.First off, I had trouble with it picking up the motion when I was playing on the non-kid mode.Secondly, I bought this to play with my kiddo. I like how there is a kid option that doesn't knock off points or discourage kids from being active and dancing. That was really the only plus that I found from buying this game.I was also disappointed that the menus were so confusing and seemed to always take me back to the "pay to play" songs.

Hard game, not as easy as DDR or guitar hero

This game needs the Just Dance App to play, you hold the phone while you are moving and it uses the phone’s accelerometer to measure movements. It also needs a unit with a drive because this is the version with the DVDRom. Not all the songs in the library are available because they want to upsell you on a subscription. The idea of the game is to try to dance the moves as seen by the artists in the music videos, there is a kid mode with more generic songs and moves. If you are a good dancer, I suggest this game, music is good. But if you think this is DDR, you might not like it. Newer games in this title are download only.

Just dance 2022 hopeful but was disappointed

I have always been a just dance fan since the beginning owning every game since it’s been released which is why I’m HIGHLY disappointed that the new release 2022 is Only able to be controlled with a phone while dancing. As a xbox user why oh why…..please tell me why we just can’t use a Kinect to play this game - at least as an option for some. It’s super annoying and it doesn’t see the moves that great like the Kinect in my opinion. I don’t want to hold my phone, as most people have big phones nowadays it’s uncomfortable and as someone who suffers from grip weakness due to damaged wrists you are making this game unplayable after just a couple songs. So what about people with other forms of disability’s? Also the fun silly recaps of videos dancing with your family are gone so NO more laughs. I can’t even attempt to add up how many funny memories I had with my family over them. Also No… not everyone is going to have a smart phone to be able to play with it in the household. Not only is this inconvenient for parents because kids need them but also older generations or people that can’t afford updated ones. I’d like to think this was suppose to be a break from our phones and be active not having it stuck in our hands all day. On top there is a safety hazard of possible harm to surrounding objects, people, even the phone itself and physical harm the strain to your body by holding onto it. A game I was excited to play I’m just sad now. I don’t know if the developers are giving up with this game but there is less and less with each new release and that’s to bad. The fun is disappearing and I wish you guys would address that. Or maybe it’s just a lost cause now. Not for kids... I guess

I'm pretty sure that game would be great if I could get it to work. When I specifically asked about this in the store, I was told that it just links up with your Xbox Live account. What they don't tell you is that you need a Ubisoft account in order for it to "link up" with your Xbox Live account... which you have to create. For whatever reason, my daughter is unable to create an account to link up with her profile. No explanation as to why though. I'm assming it's her age which I also asked about.So, now I have to have her use my profile on the Xbox to play this game and use my Ubisoft account. Okay, it sucks but whatever. I can play the game right? Nope. Now I need to install a separate app on my phone to use as the controller, which I asked about as well. Worthy Game at a Discount

Super fun and brings me back to old times of playing Just Dance when I was young. It is a bit disappointing having such a short playlist - 10 songs were unusable since they were for young kids. It really makes you want to buy the yearly subscription to access more songs, so you don't get bored after a while. I would not pay full price for the game, but it did definitely get my siblings active and distracted for a good month, so it was definitely worth it at a discount!Also, super fun to have at a hangout with friends. I'm a young adult so playing this while drunk is an even better experience as people get competitive!Note: Not all songs will be hits from 2022, some are wayyyy older hits.
