This is the worst product they have ever produced. It blackens everything it touches in the shower EXCEPT your hair. 1 minute per instructions is a joke. 15 minutes is minimum and as others have said, it takes 30 minutes to actually make a difference on hair but only seconds to stain the shower. BUY THE 5 MINUTE HAIR COLOR, NOT THIS PRODUCT. Heck, I've had better results with the el cheapo men's hair color from the dollar store. And don't get me started on the assinine cap. It is one of those squirt caps you find on the upside down mayo squeeze bottles. One squeeze and this stuff is everywhere, except in your hand!!!!

As someone only recently turning grey/white the concept, price and ease of use really is what drew me in. Now after much testing and attention to results I can say with confidence that it works best used daily and will provide with a less than obvious result. At first it was easy to say it wasn't working at all but its not meant to. An instructional point they make is to not use your fingertips but only your palms to work the product into ur beard. Good luck with that. I just use latex gloves to apply, problem solved. Also, after you apply the product its best to wipe away and excess on your skin, ears, lips, nostrils etc. Sometimes it stained. Other times it did not.Overall good experience and I will continue to use it.

Good but I'd Rather Just Dye it Once

At first, I really liked what this did for my gray hair. However, I found that I have to use nitrile gloves with each application to avoid staining my fingernails. Over time, this became somewhat of a nuisance. Also, I can't tell whether this product causes more hair fall than usual, which is a troublesome aspect of continually using it. In the end, I'd rather switch to another product that's single use instead of something I have to use for weeks to get a decent result. Lastly, it does cause a bit of scalp irritation, and the scent is not for everyone.

Hair doesn't looked dyed

This shampoo coloring is a great way to reduce the gray in your hair. I like that it doesn't turn your hair uniformly dark like a traditional coloring dye. It looks more natural. Understand that the tips of your hair will be darker than the hair closer to the roots because they've been "colored" more times than the newer hairs. But I like that aspect. Of course if you wash your hair with it every day you will end up with more uniformly dark hair. I only use it 2x a week, which at 67 yrs looks more natural.

It just worth a try without high expectations

I bought this shampoo because I thought I would be able to get rid my white hair without actually dying it. I’m on my second tibe and it’s more then 6 weeks that I’ve been using it on a daily base. My white hair has chanded color but are still noticeable. This shampoo seems like a diluted colr. When you wash it off you will notice the color washing off. I was expecting that with over 6 weeks of use I would have gotten better results. I will continue using it until I finish the second tube, and buy then I’ll make a decision on whether or not I will continue using it. It’s definitely worth giving it a try. Some hair will take dye better than others.

Not the same results after formula change

I've been using this shampoo for about 4 years with amazing results. The last two bottles I purchased (new packaging) are pretty bad. it takes forever to darken gray hairs (if at all). If you read the manufacturer's responses to most reviews, you'll see the same answer "use the product more often". They're not addressing the problem/change in the new formula

Subtle Age Adjustment

Have been using this product for a few years now. Gradually reverses the effects of age without any foul odor. If you don’t have working man’s hands I suggest wearing gloves. I personally leave the product on my hair as long as possible while I’m in the shower %26 have never had any Ill effects. Highly recommend if you want to leave some of your natural grays.
