Had an old basic WindowVac for years but he battery seemed to be fading so investigated what Karcher are doing now. Found this model, top of the range I thought. Read reviews/ YouTube etc, about the new super new extra flexible blade and long battery life. It convinced me to buy this expensive model. What a mistake! The super flexible blade squeaks, bends out of place and leaves streaks. You can no longer feel the edge of the window but now have to look intensely for edge of window, if that makes sense. Give me the old blade anytime.

Initially I wanted to clean my windows, which being South facing, were becoming quite dirty and damp from the winter weather. I have now moved on to using the Window Vac for just about everything with a glass or mirrored surface! It took me a little time to get the best results but that was more about how I was using it, not the actual appliance. It comes with a good spray bottle/mop, which you use first - then go over with the Window Vac, sucking up all moisture along the way. Having only single glazed windows, I've even been using it on cold mornings for condensation, as it is so quick and the battery life is really good! Thoroughly recommend and should have bought it ages ago.

I am thoroughly impressed with this system! My windows look fantastic and it is easy to clean them. First you spray the cleaner (you dilute a capful of the solution so the bottle should last awhile). Swipe the window with the pad on the spray bottle. You can clean longer with the pad if the window is extremely dirty. Next, turn on the gadget and squeegee the window. It is pretty amazing. I do use some lint free (cheap) paper towels in case there is some streaking but it is super easy to polish that away. I have never been able to clean windows that look this clean and it is quick! I am happy that I purchased this system! The clean up when putting this system away is easy too.
This window cleaner is excellent and saves. alot of time and mess.Like anything it depends on how dirty your windows are to start off with.You can’t expect to have filthy windows and expect them to come out crystal clean, remember you are spraying then wiping with the cleaning cloth then vacuuming, if your windows a filthy what do you expect(streaks)I have a house full of windows and doors and this vac is the best thing I’ve ever bought.The more you use it the cleaner your windows will be so there will be no streaksalsoit is that easy to use it makes it a pleasure to clean.The silicone blade is the best as it flex’s right down to the bottom

The first time I used the Karcher window cleaner I used the 'premium spray bottle with microfibre cloth'. It didn't work well and left streaks. I found the spray bottle difficult to use and there wasn't enough moisture on the window to effectively clean it. The next time I used my old microfiber window scrubber and it was a real success. It has made the whole window cleaning process much easier. I also use my Karcher to dry out the shower and it is excellent for this too, the tiles and screens are dry to the touch. I aim to try the spray bottle again but will make sure it is damp before I start so that there is more moisture on the window!
The squeegee is garbage… leaves streaks with every pass. I bought the karcher brand liquid concentrate to go with it too. The spray bottle with scrubbing sponge is great, very handy and the sponge washes out well after use, but that’s not worth $195. You’re paying for the vacuum squeegee, which is a waist of time. It does suck up the liquid, but leaves perfect streaks about 10mm apart for the whole width of the squeegee. I’ve done all our windows and mirrors and they’re all now streaky. The streaks really stand out when the light hits it. I would have been better off buying a decent manual squeegee, a bucket and some cleaning singes and rags. Waist of money!

This item has been very poorly designed indeed. It fails to perform as advertised and in fact produces inferior results to that of the conventional squeegee and sponge.The squeegee head is insecure and frequently detaches even with relatively gentle movements. The spray bottle is small with a tediously small nozzle which requires constant pumping. The end result of the window 'clean', is glass which is both streaked and fogged in appearance thus requiring yet another cleaning, this time with a soft cloth. This item should be withdrawn from sale; buyer beware.
