I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I tried a sample size of this shampoo from k18. My hair gets oily very quickly find I have to wash my hair daily because of the build up. I was intrigued to try this as it claimed to gently cleanse hair, detangle repair damage. I also colour my hair so my hair has a lot of damage is very frizzy. After using it the first time I noticed a difference in how squeaky clean my hair was out of the shower. A little goes a long way as you focus it into your scalp roots of the hair and massage it until it suds up and then rinse out. I was easily able to brush it out when normally my hair is extremely tangled out of the shower. I also noticed it wasn’t as frizzy. Fav Shampoo!

All my life I have been on the search for a shampoo that would cleanse my hair thoroughly and also not strip/break my hair. I have medium/thick dense hair (4a if you care) and wash my hair 1-2x/week given my active lifestyle and career as an actress. I washed my hair with this shampoo and did not need conditioner afterward. I didn't experience a lot of hair fall/shedding either. I never experienced that in my life, but it really cut time. I have a simple hair care routine already, but this just made it more manageable and cut even more time in my wash time. I want to try this shampoo with the leave-in mask next time. Had to come and leave a review before going to bed. So worth the price and highly recommend you try it.

Frightening looking

I was so excited to try this product after reading many of the rave reviews about it. My hair was highlighted 5 months ago so I don't feel that my result from using the Peptide Prep ph maintenance shampoo had the effect it had on my hair. I literally looked like I had put a wet finger into a live electrical socket. My hair was sticking out all over my head, dried out and not being able to get any brush/comb through it. I wish I had taken a picture of it. Ok, so I went to use the Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask with high hope of this product working a miracle on my head of straw. I used as directed but it took about a third of the bottle to get it to work at calming my hair down enough to brush/comb it. Impressed with the results after the first wash.PROS: 1) Cleanses the scalp without overdrying the hair. 2) Does not weigh the hair down. 3) For flaky scalps: No irritation or burning after the first wash. 4) No heavy fragrance. 5) Smooth hair (no flyaways/frizz).CONS: 1) Some tiny visible flakes after the first use (very minimal and nothing compared to some other shampoos). 2) Some itching after wash (but again, very minimal...and after first use - recommend continuing use and/or pairing with scalp treatment).OVERALL: Great everyday shampoo that does not overdry the hair or weigh the hair down. Incredible Duo!

I have straight, fine, thin hair. It is damaged due to color, heat damage, and split ends. My overall hair looks flat. I love dry shampoo so much that this is the perfect clarifying shampoo when I showered to get all the residue out. After I shampooed my hair, making sure not to condition it, I towel dried it and used one pump from root to tip with my hand of the hair mask! It has a light floral scent, which I love! I waited four minutes before styling so the K18Peptide was able to fully absorb into each hair strand. I styled my hair as usual and after one use, I noticed a dramatic difference. K18 maintenance shampoo & mask are amazing

I have hypothyroidism and low hormonal levels for which I take meds & under-the-skin pellets (I’m female btw). I experienced hair fall thought to be due to testosterone levels increasing and was prescribed spironolactone and later, compounded 7% minoxidil. Spironolactone helped control my suddenly crazy oily skin and breakouts but I was still experiencing a ton of hair fall to the point️ that my hair was noticeably thinner and was prescribed this high dose of minoxidil twice daily. A side effect, which is rare apparently, was that it changed my normally shiny fine slightly wavy hair (which I had a lot of off) into a dry straw-like frizzy mess with crazy unmanageable waves. I use this shampoo daily and I think it’s been the cherry on the top, so to speak. I really really like this shampoo!I also use a hot brush to control frizz and add shine (it really makes a difference) and a balm and hair oil also purchased through LovelySkin. Love k18 and find that it work SO WELL

The Peptide Prep pH Maintenance shampoo is a great pair it the K18 repair mask. I also have the detox shampoo, but I feel like you could get away with just once of them. Although, there are some differences I spotted below:-The charcoal detox mask to me had a bit of a stronger scent, one that I enjoyed but if you don’t, you may enjoy this one more. The detox shampoo is also black-gray in color, this one is clear.-I found that both of them lathered very nicely, and made my hair and scalp feel so soft. I didn’t feel a drastic difference between the two.-The main difference I think between the two is that the detox is your deep-clean, and the peptide ph is like your everyday maintenance.The textures and way they left my hair to me were very similar. I reluctantly (because of the price) tried k18 and I’ve been really impressed. My hair feels light and clean, it’s more manageable and I can go longer in between washes now without having to put my hair in a bun. I don’t even use conditioner, just the shampoo and the leave in once I’m out of the shower. The price is steep but considering you use so little and it’s so effective I say it’s absolutely a good investment and it’s worth it. The sample sized shampoo lasted me 6 months, Im sure the large bottle will last me an entire year or more.
