Don't waste your time and money on this product

I wanted air dry clay and officeworks is down the road and this was the most convenient option available, so despite the bad reviews I bought it. First mistake. Really difficult to mould, is non-malleable and you need to use heaps of water. It is super slippery when wet and flies out of your hand, so difficult to manipulate. No matter what you make, you'll notice cracks through the clay and be guaranteed it will break once dry. The only thing you could successfully make, and that is structurally sound is a rock. We had a good laugh at how terrible the product was. Unfortunately, instead of being a relaxing activity, it was disappointing, tedious and became a chore to make use of the material. Would 200% not recommend.

It’s not the worst but definitely not the best

I bought a packet of this for a small project and found that the clay was a workable level straight out of the packet. You can mould and sculpt it fairly well, but the texture is a bit strange. It takes about 24-36 hours to dry when around 2cm diameter at its thickest. It’s also super porous when dry, so I would highly recommend priming your piece if you intend to paint it. It’s also prone to cracks wherever you have joined pieces of clay, so be aware of that.

Very good clay.

Would not recommend
18 December 2021

Really disappointed that I bought this product. Was purchased in store – definitely should have read the reviews first. Would not recommend even for small projects.Initially from the package it smelled odd? The texture of the clay itself is also weird and more akin to kinetic sand than clay. Very prone to cracks even when wet and a bit too quick to dry which makes it hard to manipulate. When slip and scoring the clay would drag. Trying to blend two separate pieces together was also difficult. Overall, would not purchase again.
