BEST Low Carb Pasta EVER!!!!
6 November 2022

originally posted on netrition.com

I have tried so many noodles and pastas and never really 'loved' any of them. I'm SO glad I decided to try this one, because in all my years of keto cooking, I'd never found anything this close to the real thing. My husband and I loved it and decided to make a mac 'n cheese, because it's something we've missed for years. I cannot describe for you just how delicious it really was! The taste and texture was amazing and I immediately ordered several more packages, as we intend to enjoy mac 'n cheese quite often.

DO NOT BUYI buy frequently from Netrition and have never written a review, especially such a negative review of a product.I am a long time low carb/keto person. I am well adapted to eating keto versions of food.If I could give this a zero rating I wouldAbsolutely disgusting and inedible.$11.49 a bag directly into the garbage can.Netrition should not sell this item.I use lupon flour when I cook, and I like it a lot. That's why I had such high hopes for this product. My dog rejected it tooSave your money

Definitely worth a try

I have tried many keto pastas and KraiZen is by far the best. It comes closest in taste and consistency to regular pasta. The taste is similar to whole wheat pasta. Because of the high protein it is very filling; one box lasts for about 2 meals. My only compliant (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is the cost.

Great High-Protein Option
21 August 2023

I have reordered this pasta because I love the macronutrient profile. It tastes good, but I also am used to eating lentil and chickpea pasta on the regular. I knocked off a star because the price is a little outrageous, so I tend to opt for high protein pastas that are less expensive and half the price for the same amount, even though the nutrition profile on Kaizen is usually superior to others.

Great product for keto eaters
25 February 2023

I love this brand. They used to have macaroni, but the ziti shape is nice too. It has a taste similar to whole wheat pasta and a texture like regular pasta. I like to make a cheesy/cream sauce and then bake it in the oven like scratch macaroni. It is enough for two, maybe 3 meals for me. The only downside is the cost. It does not raise my blood sugar, so it works for my keto diet.

I wanted to recreate a cold shrimp pasta my mom makes. I cooked the pasta for 6 minutes, drained and then set in the fridge. Once everything else was prepped, just the process of combining the diced veggies, mayo, shrimp and pasta totally destroyed the pasta. It because an unappetizing mess. I usually eat my mistakes, I had food waste, but I could not. I picked out the shrimp and threw the rest out. I tried it before it completely fell apart and it definitely has a firm, whole wheat mouth feel to it. With whole wheat pasta, I always boiled way longer because I didn't enjoy the firm, whole wheat pasta. I'd imagine cooking this longer than 6 minutes would only create more issues. Not worth buying! The Great
1 February 2022

Not worth buying! The Great Low Carb Co. elbows are so much better. The only positive thing I have to say is it is really low in carbs at only 3 g per serving and 4 servings in the whole package. If you like grainy whole wheat pasta maybe you can handle this. I cooked it for 5 min and was afraid it might get mushy if I cooked it any longer. I made Mac and Cheese and baked it for 25 min at 350. Even with 5 cups of really flavorful cheese it could not save this dish because the flavor and texture of the pasta was so bad.

Solid Choice
1 April 2023

If you're on the fence about this product, make your decision based on your diet. For keto folx, this is - without hesitation - the best on the market. Edamame pastas have way too strong a flavour, and konjac pastas are great for Asian food but NOT Italian, etc. (i.e., they are a "slippery" instead of a "toothy" pasta). We use this brand to make KD, etc. There's a bit of that unavoidably cardboard-y taste but again - this is the best keto option out there.

Try it- you won’t regret it.

Finding the perfect GF pasta is so hard! Finding a healthy one is almost impossible! Kaizen has done just that - GF, protein packed and the kicker is it’s low in carbs (perfect for a keto person but it’s just great for others who want a GF pasta that isn’t gummy and loaded in carbs anyway)! Can’t wait to see what other variety of shapes they come out with next. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive but I will continue to purchase because there is nothing like this!

Amazing!!! I absolutely love these. Half a bag is only 260 calories and 40g of protein. If you want the entire bag, it’s 390 calories! The texture and taste are both great! This really helps fill me up. I add almond milk and cheese powder and make mac n cheese. I actually ended up buying 3 more bags of this! It will definitely be a new staple in my home!
