To me, the biggest thing these trios have going for them is their packaging. The tiny stacked bento feels solid and protected, but ultimately super portable. These are fantastic for throwing in a bag or for travel. The colorstories are complementary, but overall not too adventurous or interesting, other than maybe one or two. Very neutral-heavy, though that’s probably a good thing. The formulas are good, but nothing exceptional. The mattes are blendable, but thin and powdery. The glitter shades are a bit spree, but are fine. The chromes are very good when applied with a finger. I got the Mauve Bouquet trio and found it incredibly disappointing. I’m too old to be using a heart-shaped stamp to apply blush. I was convinced to give these bento trios a chance and I’m glad I did, though I do think they’re overpriced for the quality. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona.

A beautiful trio of glitter topper eyeshadows. The shadows have a transparent base with dense glitter that gives a very pretty wet effect on the skin. The formula is very creamy so it can be easily and evenly applied with just your fingers. I got the shade "Rosewater", which comes with three glitter shades- a champagne, a light pink, and a medium plum. All three are neutral-toned and slightly muted, and they look beautiful together. The major flaw of this product is that the glitter gets everywhere! I dab this shadow on with my fingers but still end up finding glitter all over me by the end of the day, so I imagine it would be even messier if you used a brush. I don't know if fallout is ever really avoidable with a glitter-heavy product like this, but you'll ... MoreA beautiful trio of glitter topper eyeshadows. The packaging is also super cute, though not the most convenient to store. If you love glitter then you'll probably love it- the shadows really do look gorgeous! But all that fallout really gets to me!

I got Peach Madeline (option wasn’t available for leaving review) I was really excited to try a Kaja eyeshadow bento. I thought they were super cute and would be great for travel instead of packing a whole eyeshadow palette. I believe Peach Madeline was a new trio at the time, but I had buyer’s remorse after trying it out. The shades are really pretty in pan but are very sheer when applied to the eye. They recommend you apply with the finger and I saw more success than with brushes but still disappointing in color payoff I also feel like the the glitter and shimmer shades look too similar on the eye. I would’ve preferred 2 mattes (a darker shade to add more depth to the peachy look) and just one of these glitter/ shimmer options. Formula feels smooth on the finger ... MoreI got Peach Madeline (option wasn’t available for leaving review) I was really excited to try a Kaja eyeshadow bento. I am in LOVE with the new wink dazzle duel ended eyeshadow sticks! They are so beautiful 🤩 I love have pigmented and sparkly they are. You can do so much with all these colors. They are so easy to use and really help make your eyes pop. These are great for a simple day look or you can turn up the volume for an incredible night look as well. These are blendable, buildable and can also be used on cheeks and face. The quality is amazing 🤩 This is my first time trying this brand and I’m super impressed. Now I see why this brand is so popular!
Purchased at Nordstrom rack. This is the Kaja beauty bento bouncy eyeshadow trio in the chocolate dahlia combo. This is a small trio, easy to travel with. The shades are two matte browns and one sparkling peach color. The brand recommends applying the shimmer with your fingertips - it does give the most pigment. You could use a dampened brush as well. Using a brush will cause a little fallout. Not a deal breaker. The other two have medium, buildable coverage. All shades are easy to blend and last roughly 8 hours
I heard so many good reviews on the Kaja Beauty Bento bouncy Shimmer eyeshadow trios that I had to try it for myself. I love the packaging it's very innovative. It has little compartments that the eyeshadows are stored in. It comes with beautiful matte eyeshadows that blend out like a dream. Very pigmented and last all day. The shimmers are very sparkly but not annoying glitter. It does come with a tiny little mirror in one of the compartments. It's a cute idea but not a functional mirror. I did not notice any fallout. It can be a little annoying lifting and closing each compartment when you're trying to find what eyeshadow you need next to make your look, but overall, I highly recommend giving this brand a try. I would repurchase another eyeshadow palette.
This product was gifted by Kaja Beauty. I typically do a more neutral eye look with a pop of shimmer on the lid so this peachy trio was perfect for my everyday look! Firstly I love the packaging! It's so compact and takes up next to no space and I actually really love that it's in a stack versus a single wider layer. The compacts are easy to open and they really keep the shadows secure. The shadows in here could definitely be used on their own or in a combination and they apply easily and blend well too. The quality and versatility is top notch. The shimmery shades had very little fallout and really packed a punch.
I own 6 of the Kaja Bento Bouncy Eyeshadow Trios and added Mauve Bouquet to my collection this week. This one is a big disappointment. I expected a light, slightly flaky texture for the shimmers and a smooth, easily buildable matte shade. The gold shade (Wedding Champagne) is a chunky mess and the pink shade (mauve veil) is deeper than the matte shade and appears much deeper than the ads/promos. The matte shade (Velvet Carpet) is lighter than expected and not as blendable/buildable as Kaja mattes usually are (patchy). It also started to fade after 4 hours which isn't a problem I usually encounter with Kaja mattes.I can't use this trio as a stand alone which is disappointing. Wedding Champagne looks terrible with Mauve Veil and overpowers Velvet Carpet. Mauve Veil ... MoreI own 6 of the Kaja Bento Bouncy Eyeshadow Trios and added Mauve Bouquet to my collection this week. Wedding Champagne looks terrible with Mauve Veil and overpowers Velvet Carpet. Mauve Veil is deeper than Velvet Carpet but they aren't a tonal miss. I just need a darker/deeper shade.I reach for a trio on days when I want a quick eye look. It's the convenience and love for the shimmers that have kept me reaching for the trios (and purchasing more). I can't see myself reaching for Mauve Bouquet. I can't complete an eye look with just this trio and a basic (chunky) gold, pink shimmer and mid-tone plummy brown aren't unique in my collection. Wish I could rate this 0 stars as it isn't worth even 1.
I received this Bento eyeshadow trio complimentary from KajaBeauty in exchange for my honest review. I like the concept of this product. I didn’t love the colors though. It came with a matte peachy shadow and two shimmery shadows. The shimmery shadows didn’t wear well. To be fair, maybe I need a better setting spray or primer, but this didn’t look great after a few hours. Maybe a different combo of colors with less shimmers would have been a hit for me.
I've been waiting for Kaja to release true cool toned trios so I bought Taro Bubble Tea when it launched and while the shades are pretty, I'm not impressed with the formulas. The matte shade is pigmented but quite dry and can become patchy when blending and the shimmer is actually the best of the three but it's more sheer than it appears in photos and even with glitter glue, I often end up with more sparkles on my face than eyes. The glitter formula is terrible; just big pieces of plastic glitter with no back pigment that doesn't translate to more than a few rogue pieces on the lids until they also migrate to my cheeks. All in all, the pretty color can't make up for the bad formulas and I will not be keeping it.
