A really clever and clean method of 'boiling' the perfect egg. Pleasingly designed, but the buzzer, alarming the user 'it's time', broke within a matter of days. The heating element still switches off and the cookers remains safe to operate, but the smell the heating element spreads once the water has evaporated is like a hot iron gone in overdrive. It was a nice try, but we will look for an alternative soon.

Have used this multiple times now to poach and boil eggs and its super easy to use, and the eggs turn out just right every time. Instructions are easy to follow and it has a built in timer that goes off when it has finished cooking. It knows exactly what time to go off according to the amount of water in the base. I did find it difficult to pierce the top of the egg shells when doing hard boiled eggs, but apart from that its been a really good machine. I did wish it had a few recipes in the instructions for omelettes though but google has been good for that instead.

Hard boiled came out amazing. The omelette like mode, we’ll be careful not to have any air in the eggs or they will expand! Actually lifted the lid! Should have had a note in the instructions (yes I did read them) to let air bubbles settle. Otherwise great!
4 stars because it cooks eggs nicely but loses a star because the alarm sound when it finishes cooking is awful! It doesn’t auto shut off when finished like my old toaster/egg boiler/poacher did… so it will keep heating and sounding the alarm for who knows how long.
I was wondering if it was normal for the egg poacher insert to not fit snugly. The boiled egg insert fits perfectly but the egg poacher insert does not, therefore the lid does not fit properly either when using the poacher..
Does the job well. The alarm to indicate it has finished is annoyingly high pitched and doesnt turn off by itself. I did need to get it replaced under warranty after 6 weeks because of an electrical fault which blew a house fuse. .
Pretty happy overall with this product. You just measure the water for how soft/hard you want your eggs cooked and turn it on and it cooks them perfectly. The timer goes off when it is finished. I do find that you really have to grease the poaching trays well so that the egg doesnt stick in there, but otherwise it works pretty well. So easy to make curried eggs or just for a salad or eggs on toast. It does suck having only three poaching trays though as it takes a while when doing the family dinner.

My wife was tired to cook eggs traditionally and the final result was always different. Sometime overcooked sometime opposite.With this item you get the perfect level of cooking you desire. Simple to use and fast. It surprised me as usually I'm wary.
