It is very touchy, move it 2 mm's and you have dark brown toast. move it 2mm's back and you have a very light brown toast. Other than the above problem, it looks good and is reliable.

I like the simplicity of the various features in this toaster. I bought it for my elderly mother and she was quickly able to adjust things to her satisfaction. She loves her new toaster.
Have to turn toaster up to max to get bread sufficiently toasted, any less and it is still bread not toast. Crumb tray way too small crumbs fall out all over the place. Buttons are flimsy.
I was specifically looking for a black toaster so didnt consider checking out any that werent black. Having said that, this is the perfect little toaster for a 2 person household. It has a small footprint which is essential in an apartment sized kitchen and I particularly like the extra lift you can apply when getting the toast out. Smart looking, easy to use, doesnt move around on the bench when you use it - good stability.
I love this toaster as it is very slick, stylish looks good and does what it supposed to do. Also, I have been a fan of this brand for years
Looks stylish, compliments the kitchen well. However I find that it only cooks one side of the toast and then you have to flip it to cook the other side. Disappointing for the price
Small black and compact. It is the toaster that you buy after every one has left home. It is just for two.Slow the first round then hastens up. Evenly toasts the bread and am happy about it.
But they still can't make a toaster that toasts both sides of the bread evenly - no this doesn't do it either. Disappointed - but het the side it does toast is perfect - if only I didnt have to then turn the bread over & risk 1 side gettin gtoo brown - really!
