The Cobalt Drill Bit tip has a 135° split point which prevents the bit from wandering and provides more precision on startup. Four cutting chamfers on the tip support faster drill speeds, produce cleaner holes and provide maximum material contact. The tapered core provides additional strength to prevent bit breakage. Its flute shape is designed to rapidly eject chips and material while supporting faster drilling speeds. The 3 flat shank* helps to reduce chuck slippage and provide more precision. *Drill bits measuring 4.5mm and below do not feature a 3 flat shank.
