This is an add on for my dashcam. It gives GPS details of speed and location. When it connects to satellite it is great for seeing your speed and I assume location and that would help with incident reporting. Only issue is that the satellite connection is intermittent....not sure why but it is an issue. We have this in both of our cars and the same thing happens in both. Not saying it is not a good buy but be aware of the potential problem
