I was quite happy about replacing my Motorola adapter with one of these. It's working better (not glitchy or interference prone) and will hopefully last longer.It's actually an Android device itself, and connects to my car using Apple Carplay (I'm not sure why it's not Android Auto). You can install apps on it directly, or play media on it from a microSD card, but I suspect most people will only use the streaming feature to run things from their phone. I recommend tapping "Settings" -> "Other" -> "Bootup app" from its menu, and selecting "Autokit" (the streaming app) so AndroidAuto/Carplay starts automatically.It's a little expensive for what it does, and doesn't have amazing instructions/menus, but it does the job well.
