I purchased this product, trusting the Karcher brand. Within 12 hours, returned it!This machine only holds 200ml of water, taking 2-3 min to come up to temperature. You press AND HOLD the button, stream of water comes out along with steam which lasts less than 15- 20 seconds. Then you have to repeat the process. If you think that only steam comes out then you are mistaken. It literally spits out all the water from the inadequate sized tank.You must hold down the button, meaning you cannot scrub with the other hand as you are holding the outlet.I do not trust any positive reviews of this product as they are clearly manufactured to bolster reviews.I should have read reviews elsewhere before buying thisSave your money.

Goodness, it can’t even remove dirt marks that I can easily brush off with soap and water. After 3 trials on the same spot, i decided to bring it back to Bunnings. The personnel who received the item said that they will check what’s wrong with the product. Da, the product is either faulty or not up to standard as advertised.

However, i wanted a small steam gun to do the minor jobs around my home. All the reviews claim how good this product was, in their opinion. I used it on the bathroom and toilet, thats taps, shower cubicle and toilet bowl and i can honestly say 200ml is no where near enough!. It needs constant refill. To complete most jobs.

A very useful tool for cleaning windows and shower walls. The towel attachment gets heavily used for this purpose and the jets less so. The water reservoir is rather small meaning you only get about 2-3 minutes of continuous steaming. Also the button to operate the steam needs to be pressed firmly and held down as there is no lock mechanism to hold it down.Overall a good purchase and it was cheaper at Myer than any of The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Bunnings.
I had hoped this would clean my bathroom, tiles, grout, around outside of toilet, bathtub, glass and all my old steam cleaner did so well... Had heard Karcher was a good brand, so took the punt.VERY DISAPPOINTED. Instructions were hard to follow, 200ml of water lasts literally 5 mins tops. Then unsure how long to wait for it to depressurise to open and refill. So very time consuming task. 5 mins work, then wait 10 mins to open and refill, for just another 5 mins work. It's not really removing anything that I'd hoped it would, I guess it's killing bateria, but it's certainly not enough for what I wanted it for. I also find it really hard to hold down the button with thumb on left hand to operate the nozzle with the right hand. Purchased this steam cleaner 1 month ago. I am extremely disappointed and can't believe karcher put their name on this product. Tank is too small, operatimg time is made up of spitting water with little steam. The start-up light is green and does change colour when the steamer is heated and ready for use. I've owned no-name hand-held steam cleaners that I've picked up from hard rubbish collection that perform better. Yet again another return for Bunnings👎
Very poor. Used it, wont use it again. Wanted to clean some grout and discovered this thing works for about three minutes, then is constantly trying to heat up and keep up. Using a brush with some cleaner was best. Then used it to clean a hob extract. What a waste of time that was. Again using degreaser and a cloth was 100 times better. To be frank, i really dont know what this is good for. I can only think of toilet seat hinge cleaning where it might have the upper hand.....so is it worth it just for that?
I am a bud fan of Karcher brand but this item is a FAIL. The press button was always hard to press, to get steam out and now stopped working. Out of warranty so such a waste of perfectly mint condition equipment. Karcher is not listening to their customers as I see my concern was written in a review here 3 years ago1 no ability to lock this steam button on. Your arm gets tired, finger tired after a bit using this as you must carry the kettle and press down this button. BAD DESIGN2 the extension cord is too short3 must use demineralised water if you don't want scale build up after 6 months. No help from support to how to descale4 no return equipment to base when the product fails. The product cleans well and does what it’s meant to however the tank is far too small and runs out of water within a few minutes if used consistently. What makes this more frustrating is the safety feature that does not allow you to open the tank lid for a couple hrs after use. Safety is important of course but you can only get a tiny area cleaned and then have to wait hours to fill it up again and clean the next minute area. Not worth it in my opinion. Save your money.
I bought one a week ago and have not looked back. I have used countless detergents and hand-held motorised turbiscrubbers with no success in getting the grout in-between the tiles clean and the oven clean. Funnily, the whole time i was telling myself i have to get one of these steamers but i was genuinely convincing myself in thinking i was never going to get it clean without a professional. A week ago i finally took the plunge and bought one. This took the dirt away from the grout and oven within an instant and effortlessly. I knew KÃ rcher is a great product but didnt realise how great.
