I have one of the earlier versions of the Kärcher Window Vacs, which I love. So I jumped at the chance of being able to upgrade to the WV6 Plus with it having a faster charge time longer battery life. Love that it also has an LED readout for the battery percentage. I have to say that bar the extra fast charge etc I don’t see any major difference between the 2 models, don’t get me wrong it does a great job in half the time of traditional methods leaves my glass clean sparkly. But I maybe just expected more!! Maybe a little extra suction power or something. The spray bottle is the same as my previous one, whilst handy it still has a habit of the trigger moving around in use as a result, direction becomes an issue, quite frequently with me spraying the frame rather than the glass lol. I do love that this one has a detachable long head that clips onto a smaller one so if like me you have some windows with smaller panes of glass, you can use the small head wrap the cleaning pad around secure it with the velcro, this is really handy. However, again it does seem a waste, as the smaller head for the main unit is not included. Why provide one not the other??? I know these can be purchased separately but to me don’t supply it on the spray bottle if its not included with the main one!! Do a set that has all or one that has none it’s that simple. All in all still a great window vac, bit I don’t think I would foot the extra in price to have so little difference.

This window vac is a slight upgrade to our previous one. The pieces were easy to assemble and the instructions were pictures which were very clear to explain how to put it together. Although it says quick charge we found it took quite a while on the initial charge but gives you 100 mins full charge so plenty of time to do cleaning. The digital display tells you how many mins of power you have left which is a great feature. The cleaning solution gives a streak free clean. I did find it was a lot faster compared with a standard supermarket spray and wipes. You just simply spray and wipe with the attached microfibres cloth which soaks up well, then use the vac to get rid of the water left behind. The tank holds a lot which is good for cleaning tiles down after the showing and simply just empty down the sink. I can be used in various places round the house and provides a good clean. It's not perfect around the edges of the window so might be best to get a cloth to wipe up the remains. The best thing we use it for is getting rid of condensation on the windows in winter as it's fast and efficient. It's fairly lightweight aswell so you can do the whole house without feeling like you've had a workout. The added cleaning feature of this vac is better than our previous one. If your looking for any window vac I wouldn't say there's much in between them however if you're comparing window vac vs via hand clean I would say this is an absolute must! I love how much time it saves and does a good (maybe better) job with alot less effort. I would definitely recommend.

Good concept

This product is a good concept and definitely gets rid of a lot of dirt off the windows. I realise now I didn't need 100 minutes battery life, even though we have lots of windows, a WV 5 would have been OK. I've not had to charge it yet, even after about 12 windows it's still more than half charged, so that's good.The vacuum is very good. The Karcher set lets itself down on the spray bottle. It's great until you have to do the bottom of the window and turn the bottle on its side to prevent the spray bottle knocking on the window sill, and to clean the bottom stretch of glass. When you turn the spray bottle on its side, it leaks. I've had the bottle replaced under warranty and it still leaks, it goes on your hands and on the window ledge which isn't great. Good product, bad packaging

This is a great window vac. I upgraded from a very old model. The design of the product looks sleek and i opted for the white colour. Unfortunately the packaging in this product leaves a lot to be desired and i had to contact the customer care team as the window vacs white base has unremovable big black marks all over it from the products rubbing together in transit. This was really unfortunate and makes the brand new product already look used. I emailed customer care who sent a replacement, but it too had black marks on it and after this my last email to them received no response.The machine itself works very well and is easy to set up and charge. Good, but needs work

Bought to clean a kitchen window needing me climbing up onto the sink unit to reach it. Loaded up the bottle with the soap solution provided, squirted and rubbed away with the squeegee attachment. Soap solution everywhere, you need to keep it upright.Then to the vacuum cleaner, wiped it down the window leaving streaks galore. Problem was it wasn't wet enough and was almost dry.Not impressed so far, so get my own squeegee out and a bucket of soapy water. Cleaner worked brilliantly on a wet window window, clean and excess water in the collection bottleVacuum is good but the useless unnecessary accessories are already in the bin.

Not the greatest product

I purchased the top spec window vacuum hoping for it to be the best. I do this with most items I purchase. This one didn’t live up to my expectations. On using it I found the vacuum power to be acceptable but the design of the interchangeable heads is poor and so became detached with medium pressure applied to the window which led to all cleaning fluid not being able to be removed which when dried left streaks. The cleaning detergent bottle also leaked.When I mentioned this to the service team it was decided that a refund was the best outcome in my situation. Ok. Disappointed with the streaks.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have now done all the house windows inside and out. The large and small attachments are useful. I find it frustrating that at the start of the section you clean, and at the edges, it leaves streaky marks. I have tried various ways to avoid it but none seem to improve it. It means you then just need to get paper and spray to go over those bits to finish it off. You also can’t tilt the vacuum past 90 degrees otherwise it leaks. It could do with a hook on it as I ran out of hands up a ladder and it would have been useful for me to be able to hook it (spray bottle and vacuum) on to me or the ladder. I felt quite unsafe juggling it all.

Stick to the V2 if using for condensation. Trust me.

The blades is far to soft (to be fair, this does leave less streaks, so may be good for window cleaning) meaning you have to press down on it more to get the water. Even then, it doesn't suck up from the side like the V2 does, meaning when clearing the windows and going across the bottom the water just pools at the bottom. The V2 sucks this up so no pool of water.The head attachment also falls off easily with the V6, you need to manipulate the little catch before it works properly.The WV2 has a harder, much better blade that has better suction action. I cannot say enough good things about the Kärcher window vac, it has save me so much time and effort - it really is amazing! Having had a previous version, I can say the new features really enhance the product and make for a better user experience. Firstly I love the digital display for the battery, I can plan so much better knowing what battery life is available and charge before it ever runs out. The battery life itself is superb - I’ve been using everyday for a week on 2 large windows and it’s still above 90%. The window vac has been fantastic for getting rid of condensation quickly and easily, I think it’s a must have for tackling the problem and leaves the window beautifully clean daily! I’ve found it has a really flexible silicone top blade so I can get right to the bottom of windows rather than changing direction, this makes for a truly effortless streak free finish. I’ve also used it on my quarts tops after a deep clean and around the sink area, it’s saved me a lot of washing and drying cloths and towels. Overall I’m thrilled with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Being able to make sure no area of surface is left untouched, makes me very happy to continue using the product. The wv plus is very versatile and can clean lots of surfaces. I am looking forward to trying this on my tiles soon. Its a dream to use and has halved the time it normally takes me to clean certain surfaces.
