I bought these pants a size up to what I normally would based on how they felt when I tried them on, but the material “gives” as you wear them so I should’ve bought my normal size. They are very generous around the waist so I feel like I’m hitching them up regularly. Had I bought my normal size, perhaps that would’ve solved the issue. Nothing a belt won’t fix.As comfortable as what they are to wear, the fabric seems different/thinner to my other Kathmandu pants so only time will tell how it wears. All that said, I’m still happy with my purchase.

I bought these after buying and trying out a black pair. I feel the cold so I would consider these most suitable for spring or autumn for me, not the middle of winter, but having said that I think that there is room to wear thermals underneath. I'm 156cm tall so the regular length is good, not short but not too long. I'm 47 kg, so they aren't tight around the waist, but not so loose that I would need to wear a belt. They are very comfortable. Good for warmer winter days. Looking forward to wearing them every day in the spring.

This is my second pair of these pants. I bought the first pair 4 years ago. After a lot of wear I decided to buy a new pair. Unfortunately the sizing is different to my first pair. The pants are more baggy/loose and the length of the leg is too long. If it was just the length of the leg I wouldn't have said anything but the fit being different I'm very disappointed. These pants aren't cheap.

They are great pants and so comfortable but they pill so badly that I have to throw them out after one trip. I have the shorts from a few years ago and they are excellent with no pilling but they have obviously changed the fabric. Please please change it back because I would buy multiple pairs of these. The pilling is super noticeable between the thighs and on my hips where my jacket touches my pants.
I have quite a few of these pants and love how easy they are to wear and care for. Usually I am fine to order on line as I know my size, however, this time I did have to go to a store to get the next size down. The staff did say something about them changing makers??? I measured my originals along side the new pair and the waist differed by about 5 inches. No problem as the staff were very helpful in getting me fittered with the right size. Would highly recommend these to buy, just check your size first.
I’ve worn these pants for years and have used them extensively for hiking and touring in general. They look smart and are comfortable and practical. The sizing has changed over the years as when made in China I was a 12 and now they’re made in Vietnam I’m a 10. This isn’t an issue as long as you know before reordering online. I’ve just received 2 pairs in different colours for an upcoming trip. The online process was clear and easy as was the return process of the original order that weren’t a good fit. Delivery was really quick. I ordered late Sunday night and they arrived in rural Aus by Friday. No complaints here.

I stuffed up, so I purchased new pair at my expense, completed alteration to customer satisfaction.But I would like to lodge complaints against your company and others.I have noticed over years, legs of trousers in manufacturing are getting longer. That fact should be good for me, more business for me. But it is the opposite.Companies like yours are using modern fabrics that require specialized machinery for specific operations in manufacturing. I know, because I worked clothing industry world wide before I retired to paradise.My advice, supply trousers with different trouser length. The pants were a lovely stretchy light material and would have been very comfortable if the fit was better. The waist was abnormally large for the size. I am a standard size 18 and don't have a very flat stomach. The waist on these size 18 pants was about 8-10 cm bigger than any other jeans/pants I have and made the pants too loose and therefore unwearable. It was a shame because the rest of the pants were a great fit and made of really nice fabric.
I love my Flight pants I bought a few years ago. I have bought/ exchanged 4 pairs this year as the leg is twisted. These pants have been in different colours and from different stores. Really disappointed. Staff have been good re exchanges etc but I don’t really need gift cards for Kathmandu as all I really want are these pants.
I already have 2 pair of flight shorts and now the pants. They are so comfortable. I bought them ready for an o/s trip but have been wearing them a lot already. I have no doubt they will be great for our long haul flight. Love the zipper pocket, perfect size for keys or phone.
