I bought this because we needed something like this for trips to the lake and beach. But the day I bought it was because my two daughters (aged 4 and 6) and I had walked into town and they were complaining about having tired legs. This trolley was perfect. We spent the rest of the day shopping and I towed them all the way home. They had a ball.

This was a gift for my Mum for Christmas for using when the Grandchildren are down to take to the beach and she loves it! It is very sturdy, has excellent wheels and moves easily. Love that you can take the base out to help remove the sand too.Only downside is it would be better if you could extend the handle a little longer.

This trolley is 95% everything you need then you realise the handle doesn't fit your hand and is awkward to pull, then you realise every other trolley has a nice circular handle which would work great. Kathmandu needs a redesign of the handle in order to put this trolley on par with the others on the market.

Love the colour, very spacious too. Can fit lots of camping gear in it. Works well, aside from the slightly unpredictable wheels! They tend to veer off in random directions, so steering takes some getting used to. Once you dragged it along a bit, you get the feel for how to steer it!
Second one of these we've bought so we have one at home to take on trips and one at the family bach. Great for towing snacks, towels, drinks, toys AND the kids. Easy to pull on the sand. Definitely recommend for anyone!
We are a week in to owning this, and I just wish I had bought this last year. Been fantastic for towing from campsite to the beach with kids and all our gear. Much sturdier than others we have come across with the chunkier wheels. Fantastic product!
If you plan on using it on very loose sand like at Piha, its heavy, feels like the wheels aint turning or its acting like a anchor and digs in the ground making it feel like im pulling a tonne when theres only a 4 fold chairs and chilly bin of food ridiculous. Good on flat hard ground only.
Solid trolley with massive wheels! You can fill this up with everything you need for a day at the beach, including the kitchen sink! Easy to set up and pack down, rolls smoothly on solid ground, but front wheels go a bit wonky in soft sand. Wheels are huge, and so it does take up a lot of boot space in the car. No beach umbrella attachment which would have been a nice addition.Pretty pricey, but bought during special offer.
Bought this to lug kids and associated toys, towels etc. around beach when I'm alone. Found most trolleys had thin wheels that didn't perform well on sand. This has thick solid wheels, sturdy design,. holds up to 100kg so can fit in screaming kids and everything else
The trolly is very good but it comes with a cover that zips up to keep it contained and compact, this ripped almost immediately as it is under too much stress as it is too tight. Bad design. Cover now irrelevant and I can’t pack it down without using string or rope
