I'm very happy with this digital piano. The key action feels fantastic and the included sounds are great. I most often practice with headphones and have been very impressed with the sound quality, which can be optimized for the type of headphones you use and your preferences. I like the sleek look of only having a few buttons, but I do have to use the guide included with the manual to use many of the piano's features because they use combinations of buttons and keys. The app works well and provides an easier user interface. Overall, this is a digital piano that gives a very nice playing experience, has a lot of capabilities, but requires a little extra work to use any features beyond the basics.

Bought this to replace my ES110 which has been a workhorse for 3 years. It has a few more sounds and the key action is very good. I noticed my thumbs were irritated after a short time playing. The plastic keys are unfinished in the front corners and was scratching my skin. I used an emory board to smooth them out. I hope the plastic dust does not effect the contacts. I encourage Kawai to correct this issue.

Best online price. Great service. Very happy with the item. I was a bit apprehensive about the action. I have had ES 100s and ES 110s which both have a very light action which is the best I've ever had in a digital piano, ideal for pianists with health issues affecting the use of the hands. The ES 120 action is not as light, has a different feel, but is much more responsive, enabling a pianist with sensitivity to fine-tune a performance. Furthermore, the sounds are magnificent. I'm very happy indeed with the high quality sampling of the piano sounds. There some fab organ sounds for pop and classical music, a lovely choir sound which previously, I only had on the Kawai ES 8. I don't have to use external speakers anymore for gigs in smaller venues, because the internal speakers are so good and even with fairly basic headphones, I can perceive greatly enhanced sound quality compared to that of the ES 110. A highly recommended instrument from an equally highly recommended retailer, Chamberlains Music.
