I was looking to replace my Targhee II where the heel was considerably worn. I liked the low heel platform and the looks. I ordered up a size since reviews said they run small, and indeed, they do…the next size up fits perfectly. My biggest beef: what’s up with the shoe laces? Why are they so incredibly long? I replaced the laces with paracord no tie laces which make these shoes exactly what I wanted. I almost sent them back, but am happy I found a lace replacement since I now love the shoes.

I haven’t had the pleasure of owning these shoes for long, but in our short time together I’ve put them through many tests of strength. These shoes can trek up a mountain face with ice and snow no problem, or keep you comfy on long concrete commutes. They provide the diverse applicability of an approach shoe with all the comfort you could seek from your favorite sneaker. They are adjustable down to the toe so you can customize your fit depending on the activity, and they are water resistant until a point. So happy with this purchase, and excited to wear them for years to come!

I've gotten a 6 in all of the other Keens I've owned (like at least 8 pairs), but tried a 6.5 and 7 based off of the reviews and ended up keeping the 7 because my toes kissed the front of the shoe in the 6.5. The 7 is a touch too big, but I can still walk in them. These are probably the most uncomfortable Keens I've ever purchased, however. They're cute, but I won't be taking them out for any long walks, and definitely not for anything like a hike; the soles are thin enough and there's so little support that I feel like I'm walking in minimalist shoes. That's not inherently bad, but it definitely puts a lot of pressure on the ball of my foot, which doesn't feel so awesome after a while.

I'm a size 9.5, and any size 10 I've ever gotten from Keen has been noticeably too big. I wear a 10 for hikes where I'll be out for days to compensate for swelling. I recently bought two new pairs of keens in size 10: these jasper suedes and a pair of Targhee II (which was my third pair of targhees). Both pairs were so small my toes were slamming the fronts. There's no way I should need a whole size bigger since my last pair, last year. Stay true, Keen!!! We've always counted on you guys, don't let us down now. Not for the price you ask us to pay.
I see people's points about the tongues of the shoes, but once I properly adjusted the laces it didn't bother my feet at all and I forget about it two seconds after putting them on. If you have sensitive feet though, these might not be the shoes for you. You also need patience to get the laces right...and there are a lot of them...but that's something I love about the style. I can adjust it all the way down to the toe! And you only really have to get it right once and then just loosen and unloosen the top to get your foot in.I followed the other reviews and ordered a half size up and the front feels quite comfortable and the length is just right. I have fairly average width of feet and always wear an 8 (I ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly!)Overall, I think ... MoreI see people's points about the tongues of the shoes, but once I properly adjusted the laces it didn't bother my feet at all and I forget about it two seconds after putting them on. I have fairly average width of feet and always wear an 8 (I ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly!)Overall, I think these shoes are great. Super cute and very comfortable. I can wear them all day and, after adjusting the laces for my feet, I even forget they're on when I come home...and I'm someome who usually lives in super cozy LL Bean slippers at home (so the standard for comfort is high ;-).
I had both knees replaced last year and my feelings about putting style before comfort have changed! Until I found these beauties with both. I have high arches and this is my second pair of Keens. The support is amazing! I even RAN in the Walmart parking lot to get out of the rain. I have not ran for at least 10 years. Amazing shoes. I recommended them to everyone who noticed them!
It’s my first pair of Keen shoes. Worth every penny as it is very comfortable and I can’t wait to try them for hiking. It’s also fashionable for daily wear. The previous reviews said the actual size is too small and so, I had run the size test before placing the order. I usually wear EU39 but the size test advised me to take EU39. I’m glad that I had taken this advice.
I think I got a defective one but I didn't realize till recently. I purchased long time ago (passed return period) and never wore them since purchased. I recently tried them on and found left shoe hurt my toe. Eventually found out it is due to the insole of left shoe doesn't fit and is different from the one of the right shoe. The insole is also used (at least doesn’t look like new).
They're super cute, but run small! I usually wear a 7.5 in Keens (I've tried Terradora and Targee), but the 7.5 in this makes my toes hit on the front for some reason when I walk. Have tried different ways of lacing and it doesn't help. It makes wearing them not as comfortable, so I recommend sizing up from your Keen size (which is already a half size up from my normal size!).
These are really cool shoes. I usually wear 9 in keens, 8.5 or 9 in most shoes, and I ordered a 9 in these and they fit fine. They are slightly narrower at the toe box than the Targhee style. The laces on the navy add a lot of fun and make your foot look smaller. My feet swell in running or most walking shoes. But not in these. They have enough of a sole and enough shoe to be good and stylish walking shoes. I will wear my hiking shoes on a hike in the woods but now I have these for my morning walk and I'm really pleased with the looks and comfort. There is a bit of tightness on the bunion on my right foot so that will take some breaking in.
