These have been the favourite multi use footwear for all my boys since my oldest was first walking. They fit wonderful on different foot types, they have enough breathing room while still giving great protection. Kids can run, climb, and play without tripping over their feet or dangerous footwear. Kids can be themselves in these and still get the benefit of a 'sandal'. The wear quality is fantastic, my kids are incredibly HARD on their footwear, and these still actually have life left in them after my kids have grown out of them - never has any other better quality brand of footwear been useable afterwards. My boys love their sandals, love the colour variations and all get excited for their sandals, all find them comfortable and ice recommended these to everyone.

Love that these are closed toe, work well for wide feet and have a durable rubber sole! I've bought 3 pair of Keenz shoes because of this! However, the heel of the shoe makes me reconsider future purchasing. My kids heal got a hole along the seams, where the little loop is to help you pull the shoe on. These shoes can be hard to get on! To make the heel, the least durable part of the shoe seems like a huge oversight. My kid was not that rough on them either. Also their lack of washability is a major flaw on kid shoes! I washed one time and there's peeling on the shoe, like one would experience when washing flannel. These lasted the 1/2 the summer. Hopefully this new pair we got will do better. I see they have closed toe sneaker sandals, I'm going to look into that. ... MoreLove that these are closed toe, work well for wide feet and have a durable rubber sole! It's too bad my kid wore the shoes out the shoe store (can't take back after wearing outdoor) or I would have bought the sneakers instead.

I have been buying a pair of Keens for my kids in the summertime every year for the last three years. I started with my daughter when she was a little bit over 1 year old, and now I buy each of my children a pair in springtime that last them through the fall. These shoes, in particular, have a great design and also happen to glow-in-the-dark which not only is cute, but will serve my son well when running around on summer nights. This is the first pair where the Velcro does not seem strong enough; I feel like I've re-fastened his shoes a couple of times a day since purchasing. But that could also be from his relentless pursuit of pulling the Velcro apart. They stay securely on his feet even with the Velcro unfastened. The only other part of this design that I don't care for is the elastic band that weaves through the top of the shoe is not adjustable, but also loose enough for my son to grab and pull at. He made quick work of stretching that band out and since there's no way to tighten it, now it hangs loose and is an easy target for him in moments of boredom. My kids wear the shoes every single day in all weather and terrain, including running around our neighborhood, at the beach, and in the water. They hold up incredibly well through all of our summer activities and many washes. They are so durable that even I hand them down to friends and family after our seasons of wearing them.

This is my first pair of Keen's. A friend recommended them to me for a good travel sandal. I've taken them for two pre-trip walks. They are comfortable and seem to provide good ankle support. zthey look pretty spiffy, too. My only disappointment is I had hoped to wear my orthotics with them and the fit is too tight for that.
We've been loyal to Keen sandals for years and they never let us down. The kids romp around all day in these and they hold up super well. From puddle-jumping to park-playing, they're built to last. Shame the little ones outgrow them every year, but hey, that's kids for you!So if you're on the hunt for reliable, kid-friendly footwear, you really can't go wrong with these Keen sandals. Your youngsters will love them, and you'll appreciate the durability. It's a win-win.
So far so good. Bought for both my grandaughters to basically live in this summer. Easy to get on and fits the 2yr olds fat little feet! Haven't washed them yet which will clinch it for me when I see how they do. The colors and patterns are amazing and I let my 4 yr old pick whatever she wanted for her and her little sister- matching of course!
I ordered the Seacamp and the Newport for my toddler. The Seacamp is lighter with little support and most likely suited for beach or pool as opposed to everyday wear. As opposed to the Newport (which I kept) that is very sturdy with excellent support. The Seacamp is extremely narrow and small in the toebox, I couldn't even get it on. If your toddler has chubby little feet like mine, you might not find this shoe a good fit. Both shoes run small and I had to size up.
I was really excited to get my 5 year old a pair of Keens. Unfortunately upon arrival they absolutely wreaked of some extremely strong chemical odor. Left them on the porch to off gas and after two weeks it still gives me a headache when I get within 2 feet of them. Not a regular headache, a tingling sensation throughout my whole head - clearly not something that should be inhaled and yet they were meant for my 5 year old. Keen told me it was a harmless primer and suggested I use Febreeze… to cover the smell, I suppose since that’s what that product does. Nothing could cover this odor. I actually washed them in the washing machine and they still wreak of chemical odor. Made my washing machine smell of it as well. Really concerned what chemical could leave such a strong odor and when we get too near and get a whiff feel an awful sensation in my head. It’s so concerning that Keen isn’t concerned why this pair smells so horrifically. I may get them tested by lab.
These are the most worn shoes in my little ones closset. For hikes, slow walks to the creek or just playing in the yard. These have perfect air flow in the humid climate, protect her toes, are easy to walk in without the bulk AND NEVER leave a blister. We've tried other similar style of shoes in a pinch when we outgrew these and the seams inside the toe just rubbed my girls toe raw. I love how smooth and flush these are throughout the inside. So thoughtfully made. Thank you!!
My toddler has a narrow foot and finding healthy foot development shoes that fit him well, especially sandals, is a challenge. These were recommended by a website discussing narrow toddler shoes, and we love them. We’re on our fourth pair because he keeps outgrowing them, but they are well worth the price as they are his everyday shoes in warm weather. He can safely run, climb, and splash and the shoes stay snug on his feet! We haven’t had any smell issues, but he’s just barely three so perhaps we aren’t yet at that stage.
