After reading the reviews I am a true size 9 however, based on the sizing questions I came out as an 8.5 and they are a perfect fit. The shoe has the elastic cords as I did not purchase the leather option. I am most pleased with the way the shoe can give and stretch as my foot moves. I do have high arches and tend to pronate on my right foot due to a previous broken leg. These shoes have zero arch support so I have a sandal arch support that seems to work just fine to give that foot a bit of help. I would recommend these shoes for fall and summer.

I bought these for my wife and I originally ordered a 8.5 . I realized I ordered that size by mistake but it was too late to change the size so I called Keen and although they could not change to a 9 , they did order the 9 right over the phone and gave me an additional $10 off. I received the 8.5 and shipped them right back with no issues for free. The 9’s arrived a day or two later and my wife wore them for two weeks straight. This is the 4th pair of these shoes that I purchased. Started with the plain tan and wore those for years. They never wear out, so I bought two other pairs and alternate between the three. Now, with the addition of these colorful combinations, I just could not resist. They wear great. Are extremely comfortable. Last a very long time and the foot support stays with them. I like that they are adjustable. I found that they do stretch out just a little bit over time, but the lacing allows you to tighten them up if necessary. They give your toes room to spread out. The footbed stays in place and comfortable even after getting a bit wet from a walk in the rain. I was looking for a summer sandal that did not trap all the heat inside the shoe. I was slightly concerned about this sandal doing that and was pleasantly surprised that they almost felt cold walking outside into the outdoor heat after the sandals had been in the air conditioned home overnight. To me, the open-toe astoria sandal was too bulky compared to the lightweightness of the UNEEK sandal, so it has been worth the debris (who knows, perhaps the open-toe astoria would still have caught as much debris).For someone with foot issues (when shoes are too tight on my feet, my feet will be in pain and I have 4 large bunions), I have had zero pain or aching/tired feet when wearing these Keens for hours on end. The product is great, I love these hiking books, but the eyelet got riped off when it got caught on something while I was hiking. Trying to maintain my shoes because they were otherwise in good condition I looked to get an eyelet to replace it. I used the chat for customer service and they pointed me to a warrenty claim but I don't want to replace the whole boots just the eyelet especially because I have already broke these boots in. I submitted a warrenty as they had no other avenue for redress. Of course this was denied as 1. these boots were old and not under warrenty anymore and 2. they don't send replacements. I was also bounced between many Keen representatives when answering my emails on the warrenty. Not sending replacement seems counter intuitive to a ... At first, I thought they looked ugly. Made my feet look large. However they grow on you. I like that they are made of recycled products. They keep your feet "aired" and have a comfortable fit and arch support. They are like sandals, so little rocks will get in the openings. I normally wear a 10.5, but they suggested an 11. That worked. They are a little tight too get on, but once on, feel OK. I wonder if they would work as pool shoes.

I went up a half size and have been able to purchase multiple pairs with confidence that they will fit and they have. I think I like the tie dye ones best and they are a little "dressier" than the Newports. The only downside for me is they are wide and definitely make my foot look larger from the ankle forward and yes, my foot is a size 9, but it feels disproportionate. I will say for me they are comfortable for shorter bursts of time. I have high arches so I do find they are less comfortable than my Newports. I definitely like them though with capris, casual dresses, and casual pants. The colour choices this year were great! Lastly, I found it amusing that my 20' something daughter ... Anyway, I went ahead and got a pair. They are snug, but there is still breathing room, and they feel really supportive. I haven't done any majorly long walks in them yet, but they felt great for strolling around town so far. I needed a new biking shoe. I don’t like enclosed shoes. I’ve been biking with a lightweight Abeo strap on sandal, but 10 years later it’s worn out. The reviews on the Uneek sounded good, but the toe area is enclosed. Because of woven strands to form the shoe I thought “Interesting concept”. I can’t compliment this shoe enough. My toes don’t miss their freedom. The ventilation is great. The flat soles fit my bike pedals perfectly (better than my Abeo’s) They are so comfortable to walk in too! The toe area gives room for each toe to spread (like you’re barefoot). I think it’s also a good looking shoe on “UNIQUE”.
