I’m a REI member for years now, found these shoes but not in my size. Was told to go on line. Still not available in my size. I’m not looking for an abnormal size. I’m looking for a 7. How has this 3 year search still leave me at a loss???1 star for unavailable

As another review stated, these shoes are really well made. Unfortunately, they run small, slightly narrow and are not nearly as attractive in person. I wear a 12M, so I can't size up. I ordered the Flint Stone color and it really didn't look quite like it appeared on QVC.com. On QVC.com it looked like a pretty slate blue and gray color, in person it is dark navy and very dark gray/blue on the sides (I had to double check that I didn't get the black shoes by mistake because they were so dark). The shoe looked so much cuter online than in person. My first thought when I opened the box was that I just got a pair of orthopedic bowling shoes. The construction and sturdiness of the shoe is fantastic, just order at least 1 size up.

We recently purchased a pair of Keen Presidio Womens Leather Lace Up Casual Shoes and a pair of Keen Whisper Womens Comfortable Outdoor Sandals for my wife. She ordered size 7 US in both as this is the size of the pair of sandals she currently owns. Both new pairs fit but there is a difference in length between the three pairs of 1.3cm which could potentially be a problem. This would appear to be because the pair she already owned were made in Mexico and of the new pairs, one is made in India and the other is made in Thailand. Keen may need to address this problem. The buying process through Brandhouse Direct was easy though delivery was slow, about a month. This would not deter us from buying from Brandhouse Direct again.
I was very excited to buy a new pair of my favorite comfortable casual shoes - first purchased way back in 2007. Well, these may look nearly identical, but the quality is not there! Most irritatingly - the inner lining (on the original design, a thin soft leather - as pictured here, actually) is now a cheap polyester mesh! Within a few months of wear, the lining breaks down and you're left with random bits of foam coming out of your shoes. The laces are a cheap cotton and have broken in several places. And the water resistance really only lasts a month or two. If you're caught in the rain with these shoes your feet become wet immediately.I wore my first pair of Keen Presidio until there were holes in the soles. On this pair, the uppers have broken down far before ... MoreI was very excited to buy a new pair of my favorite comfortable casual shoes - first purchased way back in 2007. They are not the Keen Presidio shoes you remember!
I was looking to replace my old pair of Presidio shoes. I am glad I read the reviews about the differences between the Presidio II and Presidio shoes. I chose the Presidio shoes and they fit perfectly. They were comfortable right out of the box. I have wide feet and it is very hard to find shoes that fit correctly; they are usually to tight or I buy a larger size and then they don't fit quite right. Keen shoes are one of the few shoe brands that will fit and are comfortable. They also have the benefit of lasting a long time and looking good for years.
I'm on my second pair of these shoes. I wore my first pair everywhere: urban backpacking, day hikes, mountain biking, around town, running for the bus, travelling through Europe. I blew out a side seam and had them repaired. The first pair met their demise in the Whistler Tough Mudder - and even at 5 years of near continuous wear, my feet were blister-free!Keen says these shoes aren't water-proof. I applied some wax and now they are. The wax changed the look of the suede-finish sides. I wouldn't go puddle jumping in them, but they keep my feet dry in sudden showers.I'm working on wearing out pair #2, but would purchase the same shoes again in a heartbeat!
If you've never worn Keen in previous years in the Presidio model you might be ok with this shoe but it is a massive disappointment in fit, design, and construction from ALL of their previous shoes. The have gone to a mesh inner shoe, tongue, and trim which is complete junk compared to all the leather used on their previous models. I returned these as soon as I tried them on. I've worn a size 6.5 in keens for the last decade and this shoe was sliding off my foot and rubbing on ever surface of my ankle and this was out of the box with ski socks! I've read on the Keen site that they opted for mesh and less leather so the shoe could breathe more..really? Leather does breathe! And it's way more durable. It's quite obvious this is about make more shoes for less money and in turn you get an inferior product. A lot of outdoor companies seem to be following suit with this and it's too bad. Things wear out and into the landfill they go. Go back to your old design Keen! Geez!
I purchased these Keen Presidios to wear as day to day shoes. After reading the reviews and trying on a black pair at a store, I decided to get the Shitake colored ones. I am impressed with the space given for the toe box. My toes have room to spread out but not be swimming. I do wish they weren't so dull in color, just a little shine would have made a difference. My one HUGE problem with these shoes is actually the SHOELACES. There are the flat, thin kind and they didn't last through a few wearings before ripping. For the price that you pay for Keens, you would think they would include decent laces in them. I would highly recommend adding some round laces to your cart if you purchase these shoes.
I bought these over Labor Day as a nice walking shoe for a job interview; I wanted a shoe I would want to wear on a daily basis. I have had them 3 months now and wear them EVERY DAY. They are so perfectly comfortable for work, driving and everyday walking. They took me all over NYC over Thanksgiving and I didn't think about my feet once. I have the black ones and will buy another pair in brown. Despite tons of hiking-shoe-worthy activity in these (including a pit stop in a kaolinite mine where I got clay ALL OVER THEM), the leather and suede come clean easily and are holding up very well. I'm pretty sure these shoes are becoming more comfortable as they break in.I use a green Superfeet insert for high arches and as I have a wide forefoot, I have these shoes laced ... MoreI bought these over Labor Day as a nice walking shoe for a job interview; I wanted a shoe I would want to wear on a daily basis.
