KEF Q250C Centre Speaker LIMITED STOCK AVAILABLE. 2-way centre channel Size is vital when matching centre channels, which is why the Q250C is the perfect partner for smaller Q Series models. The Q250C centre channel speaker features the KEF signature Uni-Q driver array, and without a rear port it can be placed inside a cabinet with ease, creating precise, captivating dialogue. (Black cloth magnetic speaker grilles available as an optional extra.) "Sit anywhere" Uni-Q Sound At the heart of the evolved Q Series is the Uni-Q driver array. KEF's signature innovation places the tweeter in the acoustic center of the midrange cone, bringing the acoustic ideal of a single point source closer than ever to realisation. The result is a more detailed, more accurate three-dimensional sound image, which is dispersed more evenly throughout the room than is possible with a conventional speaker. Uni-Q's ultra-wide dispersion is further enhanced by KEF's 'tangerine' waveguide over the tweeter dome. Uni-Q sound taken to the next level The closed box midrange cabinet design reduces the load on the Uni-Q midrange cone, increasing clarity and detail while delivering cleaner, punchier bass. With the addition of the Damped tweeter loading tube providing a gentle termination of sound produced from the back of the tweeter, lower treble performance is improved dramatically and a new low-distortion inductor on the crossover provides cleaner bass response. Redesigned Bass Drivers Low-frequency (LF) drivers now have a larger roll surround, along with a new spider suspension to produce cleaner bass at high volumes. A new cone structure improves midrange clarity, and an enhanced Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABRs) with a new surround and rear suspension delivers better controlled and more impressive bass.

It changes the setup totally. Super clarity in voice. You need the best center channel and this surely is the bet. Might upgrade to Kef R2C.

This center speaker will give you everything you want. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is you have to purchase the grill cover separately which is ridiculous. However, it is not expensive around $30.

Great sound crisp center, it has been a great product so far. I just think they should sell it with the grille already since its a hassle to find the right one for this.
The speaker itself isva little large but it's well built. Sound is great and dialogue is precise and clear. Great addition to any home theater.
I got this speaker, to match the Keff Q550’s that I brought at the beginning of the year. I had a decent center speaker but not matching. The sound difference was amazing. I’m so pleased with it. It’s a slightly bigger speaker than what I originally had but the sound of matching speakers is worth it. I got the matching front grill to match as unfortunately my wife prefers speakers looking that way. I thought that I might be in trouble for the speaker, but after the wife even noticed the sound quality was improved I got away with it. I highly recommend this range of speakers, with the added note that your amp needs to be able to run them as they are a bit power hungry.
Upgraded from a JBl center channel and the difference is noticeable, clear and crisp sound. Worth the investment.
It's a solid center channel. It definitely does the job as it relates to Separation, allowing the tower speakers to focus on mid's and bass. Just remember this and that this is a 5 1/4 driver with 2 passive radiators. You are not getting 3 speakers/drivers.
I got this to go with my Q150’s and expected them to be pretty similar. Out of the box this thing is super bright and sounded pretty terrible. After some setup and tweaking, it’s much more smooth and clear now. I think for the price I expected a little more. I’m limited on space, so this is my only Kef option, otherwise I might for for the larger brother of this one. Overall I wouldn’t say it’s bad, just not worth the asking price (unlike the bookshelves which are great!).
I had to compromise between this and the larger sibling, this was just the width to fit inside our IKEA BESTA unit, whereas the larger Q650c would have been much too large. To my pleasure - I don't feel like I've made much of a compromise. The sound is full bodied, with a precise and delicate high end presence that doesn't feel harsh or strained, but it's definitely bright. Voice sounds warm and crisp with a sensible low end extension that reminds you of the two rather smart looking passive radiators. As expected from the Uni-Q driver, the presence is wide and provides equally enjoyable listening experiences whether sitting straight in the middle of the sofa, or on the far end. This is a formidable speaker on its own and compliments the rest of my system ... MoreI had to compromise between this and the larger sibling, this was just the width to fit inside our IKEA BESTA unit, whereas the larger Q650c would have been much too large. This is a formidable speaker on its own and compliments the rest of my system nicely. The rest of the system consists of a pair of Q350s for fronts and Q150s for surrounds and this centre blends in nicely between them. If you've invested in the KEF bookshelves for your home cinema, I can certainly recommend it. Owners of the larger floor standing Q-series floor standers (Q750 / Q950) may be better suited with the larger Q650c if space allows, but I certainly don't feel like I'm missing out!
