I bought a box of 6 double-packs of 2 pastries (total of 12) at Walmart on a whim. I enjoy most Pop-Tarts flavours and the price was not ridiculously expensive (something like $4 CAD) like some seasonal items that are often marked up, so I bought it hoping they'd be decent or my husband can eat them. They are quite tasty as-is but also warmed up either in a toaster or a microwave for a few seconds. The filling and topping are very similar in colour so I assume they're both some type of sweet icing that balances the gingerbread taste of the pastry itself. They're very crumbly though (what's new...?) so it's best to use a plate underneath when you eat. I'm not going to stock up it though, but I'll buy another box next Christmas. As you can see in the pictures I've uploaded (ignore the other items) the only disappointment I have is regarding the lookof the icing (very messy-looking), the fact that the images are cute but boring and not even centered. Since it's just about the appearance I decided to not remove any stars because of the look of the Pop-Tarts. Overall, I recommend them if you like the flavour of gingerbread and Pop-Tarts.

The expectation of a delightful fusion is quickly shattered upon the first bite. One would anticipate the sweet, succulent taste of ripe strawberries, but instead, the Stanberry flavor introduces a confusing and disconcerting blend that fails to capture the essence of either fruit. One of the most glaring issues with the Stanberry Pop-Tart is the artificial and overpowering sweetness that assaults the taste buds. Unlike other Pop-Tart flavors that strike a balance between sugary goodness and the natural flavors of the ingredients, Stanberry seems to rely on an excessive amount of artificial sweeteners, leaving a cloying aftertaste that lingers unpleasantly. This heavy-handed approach to sweetness not only masks any potential hint of real fruit flavor but also makes the overall eating experience overwhelmingly saccharine.Furthermore, the texture of the Stanberry filling is a departure from the luscious, jam-like consistency found in other fruit-flavored Pop-Tarts. Instead, it presents an oddly gelatinous and dense center that lacks the juicy burst expected from a fruit-filled pastry. The absence of a satisfying texture diminishes the enjoyment of the Pop-Tart, leaving consumers yearning for the familiar and delightful bite that other flavors provide.A critical aspect of any successful snack is its ability to evoke a sensory experience that resonates positively with consumers. Unfortunately, the Stanberry Pop-Tart falls short in this regard, as its peculiar flavor profile fails to evoke the warm, comforting feelings associated with the classic pastry. Instead of triggering fond memories or satisfying cravings, the Stanberry variant leaves consumers perplexed and disappointed, questioning the decision-making behind its creation. Conclusion:In the grand tapestry of Pop-Tart flavors, the Stanberry iteration stands out as a regrettable misstep. Its artificial sweetness, lackluster texture, and failure to capture the essence of its purported strawberry inspiration make it an unappealing choice for even the most adventurous snack enthusiasts. While Pop-Tart aficionados may continue to explore the myriad flavors offered by this iconic brand, it's safe to say that the Stanberry variant is best left untouched, allowing room for the more successful and delectable options within the Pop-Tart repertoire.

To be honest I invited him because I was afraid of what would happen if I didn't. The only problem was that he refused to leave so my friends and I came up with a plan, we knew peanut loved smore flavored pop tarts so after he trapped himself in the bathroom we made a line of them to the front door of my house with the last bits on my porch. When he finally emergered from the bathroom he followed the trail right to the porch and my wife closed the door behind him. He screeched and banged on the door for several hours and ended up causing over 3000 worth of damages to my bathroom but all in all it wasn't nearly as bad as some of the other stories I've heard of him. To this day I dread thinking about what would have happened that night if my wife hadn't of happened to pick up his favorite brand of poptarts earlier that afternoon.5 out of 5

I recently had the pleasure of trying the S'mores Pop Tarts, and let me tell you, they are absolutely incredible! As a long-time fan of both s'mores and Pop Tarts, I couldn't resist giving these a try, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised.First and foremost, the flavor is spot-on. The moment I took a bite, I was transported back to those cozy nights around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and sandwiching them between graham crackers and chocolate. The combination of the sweet and gooey marshmallow filling, the rich chocolate, and the golden graham crust is simply irresistible. The crust is perfectly baked, providing a satisfying crunch that pairs wonderfully with the soft and gooey filling. It's the ideal balance of textures that keeps every bite exciting and enjoyable. One thing I appreciate about these Pop Tarts is their versatility. Not only are they a delightful breakfast treat, but they can also be enjoyed as a snack or even as a dessert. Whether I have them as a quick morning indulgence or as a sweet ending to my day, they never fail to put a smile on my face.Furthermore, the packaging is convenient and ensures the freshness of the Pop Tarts. They're easy to grab on busy mornings or to take along for on-the-go snacking. And let's not forget the nostalgia factor – the familiar Pop Tart foil packs make every unwrapping experience all the more exciting. In conclusion, S'mores Pop Tarts are a stroke of genius from the folks at the Pop Tart factory. They capture the essence of a classic campfire treat and transform it into a delightful, handheld pastry. From the amazing flavor to the perfect texture, they deliver an exceptional snacking experience every time. I highly recommend these S'mores Pop Tarts to anyone who loves s'mores or is simply looking for a delicious treat that brings back nostalgic memories.

The crispy exterior, which I can only assume was crafted by elves with a penchant for perfection, gave way to a molten core of rich, velvety chocolate. I was transported, nay, elevated to a realm where calories don't count and every bite is a euphoric dance of flavors. And let's talk about that frosting. It's as if the gods of dessert themselves descended from the heavens to drizzle that glossy, shimmering layer of sweetness atop this pastry masterpiece. I found myself wondering if I should frame it or eat it. (Spoiler: I ate it. Twice.)Now, some might say, "It's just a Pop-Tart." To those naysayers, I ask: Have you ever ridden a chocolate comet through the Milky Way? Have you ever waltzed with a cocoa bean in a dream? No? Then you, my friend, have not truly experienced the Frosted Chocolate Pop-Tart.In conclusion, this isn't just breakfast; it's an event. A cosmic journey. A chocolatey rite of passage. So, strap on your taste buds, prepare for liftoff, and let this Pop-Tart take you where no breakfast has gone before.P.S. Pairs exceptionally well with a glass of milk and a sprinkle of childlike wonder.

Reminds me of camping with an old friend

When I was a child my parents sent me off to summer camp one year. At first I hated it, but after a few days I made friends with a kid named Dennis. Dennis and I bonded over similar interests and how we both experienced difficulties in life due to us both having Autism. One night, after all the camp activities were finished. Dennis and I were sitting around the campfire, leaned up against the short school bus that the camp used to transport kids around. We weren't allowed to roast marshmallows on the fire because of a safety incident that happened the previous year involing a kid named Debbie and her friend Alex. But Dennis' dad gave him some s'mores pop-tarts to take with him during camp. Dennis was down to his last pack, and we still had a few days left in camp. When Dennis opened the pack, he saw how much I would have wanted one. he then gave me one of the pop-tarts and we ate together by the fire. I remember feeling so welcomed and included in that moment. Dennis and I were sure to be life-long friends after this. The next year I went back to camp, this time excited to see Dennis and to hear about what he had been up to in his life. But, unfortunately Dennis never showed up. I spent that year of camp doing the various activities with other campers, always looking over my shoulder, hoping to see Dennis arrive to camp. That was back in 1998, and every so often when I'm grocery shopping, I'll see a box of pop-tarts and I'll grab the s'mores flavor. Saving them to eat at a special time.I'm an adult now and the memories still rush back in vivid detail whenever I take a bite of the s'mores flavor. I hope one day I can see Dennis again and we can share one more pack of pop-tarts together again. Dennis, if you ever happen to read this, it's me, Bruce from Fashun Valley Camp! Hope you're doing well.Thank you pop-tarts for making such a great product!

If you like cinnamon but don't want frosting - maybe a little something different from the brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts - give these a shot. And if you hate them, hey - more for me! 🤓

Why not unfrosted?
11 May 2023

These happen to be my favorite flavored Pop tart filling ever, but did to the frosting i tend to often buy unfrosted strawberry. Unfortunately every time i bite into a frosted Pop tart the frosting scrapes my teeth which makes it really uncomfortable for me. There are times i decide to endure just to enjoy the flavor, or i peel off the top layers and press the remaining halves together which wastes A LOT of the pastries. I wish Kelloggs would consider releasing an unfrosted version, or at least make it to where we could custom order any flavor with our without the frosting. Imagine, I'm just 1 person and i keep my circle moderately sized to small, and i know several people that have mentioned that unfrosted wild berry would be there favorite flavor if offered. There are still even more that wish for a create your own type of option/menu in order to get their own favorite flavor without frosting. If figured into an algorithm, this would come to several thousands of people that would love this as an option. Not to mention the revenue increase for a custom option and also savings for Kelloggs to not have to frost them. I truly hope someone from their team reads this and somehow makes this a mini dream come true!

Product: Hot Fudge Sundae Pop-TartsRating: ★★★★★ (5/5 stars)Review:I recently had the opportunity to try the Hot Fudge Sundae flavored Pop-Tarts, and let me tell you, they exceeded my expectations in every way. As a fan of both ice cream sundaes and Pop-Tarts, I was excited to see how these two worlds would come together, and I was not disappointed.Firstly, the aroma that wafted from the toaster as these Pop-Tarts were being warmed was absolutely delightful. It smelled like a classic sundae with rich, chocolatey fudge sauce and a hint of vanilla ice cream. It instantly made my mouth water in anticipation.Upon taking my first bite, I was greeted by a perfect balance of flavors. The outer pastry had a nice, slightly crispy texture, while the inside was filled with a smooth, gooey hot fudge center that tasted remarkably like the real thing. It was like having a miniature ice cream sundae enclosed in a portable pastry. The sweetness of the hot fudge was complemented by a subtle undertone of vanilla, giving it that authentic sundae flavor. I also appreciated that the sweetness was not overpowering, allowing me to enjoy the treat without feeling overwhelmed. The texture was spot on. The pastry had a satisfying crunch, and the filling was luscious and creamy. The combination of warm pastry and oozy hot fudge made for a delightful contrast that was both comforting and indulgent. These Hot Fudge Sundae Pop-Tarts are perfect for a quick and delicious breakfast, a tasty snack, or even a dessert. They are incredibly versatile and can be enjoyed at any time of the day.Overall, I have to give these Hot Fudge Sundae Pop-Tarts a resounding 5-star rating. They deliver on their promise of capturing the essence of a hot fudge sundae, all packed within a convenient toaster pastry. If you're a fan of sweet treats, don't miss out on these heavenly Pop-Tarts.
