About 30 years ago these frosted cherry pop-tarts were amazing! There was frosting from edge to edge. Currently the picture on the box is completely false advertising! The frosting is not as pictured and sometimes there just a smudge in the middle, and I’m not talking about a clump just a small smear of frosting. I’m surprised I don’t see more complaints about the product. Maybe people think that’s how it’s supposed to be. Sadly the off brands have frosting edge to edge. Even the filling in the pop-tart brand is lacking. There’s barely any filling. Like I said 30 years ago they were absolutely AMAZING!!! It’s a shame when companies get too big, they forget how they got started, and take short cuts to keep pushing product out and forget about the quality of the product.

I first bought a pack of these at Walmart not expecting much. Awesome flavor! They greatly exceeded my expectations so I ordered the case from here. The crust is flavorful and the filling is delish. I've ended up eating more than my son whom I bought them for. They're so good that we've never even bothered to toast or warm them up. The only downside when you buy so many boxes is it’s easy to eat way more than you should. Ok. A few weeks ago, my kids asked me to buy them pop-tarts. they aren’t something I usually purchase but I also, was looking forward to the treat. If my kids were writing this review I’m sure they would be raving about how awesome they were and how they wish I would buy them more. However, I’m writing this review and after years of not trying these, I was disappointed. Not sure when my tastebuds changed from really enjoying this wonderful sugary breakfast. I found I did not enjoy them what so ever anymore. The insides have a weird texture that my mouth didn’t like. The flavour was not as flavourful as I remembered. The frosting was hard and didn’t soften with heat. Not a fan anymore

my children love this pop tart, tastes amazing. packaging is individualized. It’s hygienic. the textures crunchy but soft on the inside. really really fresh. great value for money and nutritious. Great for breakfast and snacks.

I absolutely love frosted strawberry it taste SO good! They have a soft texture but you can toast them. The box is cute retro and they come individually wrapped for freshness. They are priced just right and a bargain. Perfect snack or breakfast treat!

My family and I love Kelloggs! They have so many options. Everything is great. The textures, freshness and value are all great features! They have tons of options and I have yet to go wrong with any of them. Packaging and taste are 10/10. Nutritional value and price are good to

Never buying again.

Don’t know why but this batch of pop tarts has rock hard frosting, unable to brake in half or cut. I usually eat them straight out but since these are not edible uncooked. i toasted them to soften them up, but after they were toasted the frosting was still to hard but the edges were crumbly. Toasted it a second time and only the corners ended up burned and the frosting outside was ok but the filling was very dry and tacky. Completely unable to eat. They even tasted old even though it doesn’t expire until october 2023. I’ve never seen/had a pop tarts that was this difficult to eat.

Supplier ir Laborer Issue or Quality Downhill

Do you toast yours? I do and they are so flaky they disintegrate befor you get them in the toaster or your mouth. Not sure if this is because laborer is new or the ingredient grade level has dropped, but sadly not the pop tart it was a few years ago. Maybe just the manufacturer squeezing more margin by reducing other costs. Most of it falls into the toaster or to the ground before you eat it.

The Skimpy Filling Amount hos gotten even worse.

Like all companies seem to be doing, Kellogg's is cutting down on the amount given, and in this case, it's the filling. There was never enough to begin with and now it is a thin red line where the filling is. I stopped buying these years ago because there wasn't enough filling. The calories are still in the 300s, which is a big price to pay for a hard edge and small piece of pastry and very little flavor.
