Kellogg’s Rice Krispies are a favorite healthy good morning breakfast of mine. My children love this cereal as well. Not only does it taste yummy but we enjoy the snap, crackle, and pop sounds that come after you pour some milk over the cereal. Sometimes we love to add our favorite fruits to the bowl of Rice Krispies. We also love to add marshmallows and butter to make make a sweet treat or a midnight snack.

Great taste. Favorite cereal! Crunchy texture. Great pacakge coloring. Great price for the flavor. National value! Our favorite cereal ever! Breakfast only... no way! Lunch or dinner, too!

I am in France. Got to try this when my husband brought one back from a work trip in the USA. I like Froot Loops so i was looking forward to try the original USA version. I was disgusted by the amount of sugar in it. And i wasn't even reading the label! The first spoonful felt like i was chugging down pure sugar. I definitely prefer the EU version. Delicious and not overloaded with sugar. Americans are having it so bad..

Brings back childhood memories
8 January 2020

I was excited to hear that I'd be receiving a free box of my all-time favorite childhood cereal, Rice Krispies! Rice Krispies is the best way to start your day. There are so many things you can do with Rice Krispies that make these small fluffy puffs a true treat... or meal. I usually have Rice Krispies in the morning with milk. Sometimes, when I'm "feeling it" or if it's weekend, I'd add some berries, e.g., sliced strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries. It gives a sweet touch - or tangy, depending on the season - to your morning cereal, which is a nice addition to the super crunchy Rice Krispies. Speaking of crunchy. They will, however, get soggy fast; so my advice is not to fill the bowl completely unless you like them a little soggy. They will, however, get soggy fast; so my advice is not to fill the bowl completely unless you like them a little soggy. Or, you can do like I do, and pour yourself a big portion and channel your inner "Beast" (from Beauty & The Beast) and start chowing down! Enjoy! :P Besides eating Rice Krispies for breakfast, I also enjoy eating them as a mid-day snack. I made Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispies the other day for a house party. The batch was gone in less than 5 min.! Here's the recipe in case you'd like to try for yourself. They are highly addictive! Ingredients: - 1/2 cup butter - 2/3 cups dark brown sugar - 1/3 cup heavy cream - 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter - 2 cups mini marshmallows - 5 cups Rice Krispie cereal - 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips - 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter Directions: 1. Prepare a 9x9in. baking pan by lining it with parchment paper. In a large pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add brown sugar and stir to dissolve. Stir in the heavy cream, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute, then turn the heat down to medium-low and add the peanut butter and marshmallows. Stir until the marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat and add cereal. Stir until well coated. 2. Press the cereal mixture into the bottom of the pan. 3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter for 30 seconds. Stir and then microwave in 15-second intervals until smooth. 4. Spread the chocolate peanut butter mixture over the cereal bars in an even layer. Chill 30 minutes to set the chocolate, and then remove from the pan and cut into bars. These bars are so delicious, and will leave everyone at the party - or house - wanting more! Rice Krispies is a hidden gem for cereal-lovers. With only 150 cal. per serving (served as is), you can easily justify every meal with Rice Krispies.

Broken Tooth
19 December 2022

I recently purchased 3-18oz boxes of Kelloggs Rice Krispies to make a bunch of holiday Krispy treats, something I have not done in a while. In my first batch I noticed some grit-like hard pieces when you bite down, not normal. Unfortunately, these hard bits are hard pieces of un-puffed rice, and yes part of one of my un-filled premolars has cracked/broken off before realizing the problem. After further online research, this Kellogg’s Rice Krispie product has quality issues, and plenty of complaints. Beware! Dentists are expensive, shame, shame on Kellogg’s. I trashed everything.

Hard pieces, possibly undercooked? (Mega Size box)

Kellogg's is and has been my favorite brand for cereal since childhood. Rice Krispies, though harder to find since the pandemic, are a regular purchase for me and my family. Lately new, opened boxes have been inundated with hard, barely edible Rice Krispies that do not soften even after soaking in milk! It's puzzling and disappointing; they've made a normally pleasurable dive into a big bowl of nutritious comfort food feel...risky. After observing the remnants of a recent bowl--first sign of a problem, I never leave any cereal from a bowl of Rice Krispies uneaten--I noticed a lot of cereal pieces had sunken to the bottom. I've never known even soggy Rice Krispies to just sink to the bottom of the bowl so heavily. I've never known even soggy Rice Krispies to just sink to the bottom of the bowl so heavily. To me, those sunken bits most closely resembled uncooked parboiled rice right after I've added water to the pot before cooking. And frankly, the hard bits texture is very similar to undercooked rice, in my opinion. I don't know the exact cause of this, but at this time I'm not confident enough to purchase additional boxes of Rice Krispies until the issue is fully addressed. Thanks for listening.

Snap Crackle Pop your teeth

Used to love Rice Krispies bought them all the time. Last few boxes haven’t been right they all had different dates so it wasn’t the same batch either. They have hard pieces of either rice or some other product in the rice krispies. Cannot chew them, too hard they hurt and break teeth. How can you continue to sell and manufacture this cereal to households and especially with kids? Whatever your doing is the exact opposite of what Rice Krispies Kelloggs cereal should be. Never had these issues in the past? Sad to say but I won’t be buying Rice Krispies anymore until reports of this stop happening and product changes are made. I wouldn’t even be able to use this to make Rice Krispies treats the way it is, or any other snack. Shame when something loved and was a good ... MoreUsed to love Rice Krispies bought them all the time. Too much cereal
24 January 2020

I love rice crispy treats! I have special memories eating them as a kid so I was so happy to receive them as my bzz product. When I first opened the box I thought it was individually packaged rice crispy treats so I brought the box to work to share with coworkers. To my dismay, I realized it was just the cereal. I then brought it home and made the treats, according to the box. I used a few tablespoons of butter, 1 bag of regular marshmallows and I added in cereal a little at a time. I only used about half of 1 bag when I realized it wasn't super sticky anymore, even with mixing a lot and scraping the bottom, so I stopped adding cereal. When the treats dried in my large Pyrex, it was very full. I brought the treats to a brunch of 6 people. Each person ate a treat. ... MoreI love rice crispy treats! When the treats dried in my large Pyrex, it was very full. I brought the treats to a brunch of 6 people. Each person ate a treat. Everyone agreed that they were too crumbly and they fell apart. The overwhelming suggestion was less cereal to make them more stringy and marshmallowy and soft. These were hard and hard to cut. 4 days later, after keeping tin foil covering the Pyrex and leaving it on the counter, I had 8 friends over to my apartment. When I offered the treats to them, people also mentioned how hard and kind of tough they looked, instead of soft and mushy. I would recommend enlarging the font so consumers know it's just cereal and a much smaller box. I hope the quantity was for this campaign and not to actually sell. Unless I had a large family, I'm a single person, then I would consider buying this.
