Sound quality is so much better than the pioneer variant. Loads more audio adjustment options…. The screen display looks a bit dated though, unless you use apple car play.

Brilliant replacement for the factory fitted one

Great piece of kit. Bluetooth was a seamless connection and the unit virtually sets itself up! Bought and had fitted within an hour!! They had the faceplate in stock and fitted without fuss!

Brought my car up to date

Excellent Stereo-I always buy Kenwood as I find them easy to use & they have great sound. Waited 2 Years to get my hands on this one as they were out of stock for a long time thanks to Covid & the Microchip shortage.

Don’t buy

This is not a good product. Due it being unable to be wired in with remote settings it will not allow you to use your steering wheel controls. Further to this the process to actually get it fitted is the most long winded and convoluted I have coke across. I now have a different model fitted but it is still not finished.

Very happy with it, sounds good and is responsive. Only thing I’d say is the screen resolution isn’t as good as I was expecting

Good stereo

Bought as a replacement head unit for our T5. Had an issue with having to ground out the android auto settings to connect with phones. Apple play worked straight off.The screen is not backlit and we are trying to find a work around that lets you clearly see the reverse camera in bright sunlight. The angle of the unit means in bright sunlight you can't see the screen very well.The system is fairly straight forward to use but is clunky and we are changing our steering wheel so it has controls for volume/answering calls etc...The microphone works well and the call quality is what you would expect of an after market install. I would recommend this unit for a T5

Great but didn't last long. Refunded Easily Though

I bought this head unit as one of the last Halfords had in stock in August 2021 and in about 2 months the sound started cutting out and eventually stopped altogether. I loved the unit and want another but am concerned about how long it will last.Cannot fault Halfords for their customer service and refund when requested.

Great head unit

Bought this to upgrade a stock vw head unit and it's transformed the car, Apple carplay works seamlessly, screen is very responsive and plenty of adjustments for sound
