I had a lot of fun with hair color last year, but then in May (2021) I decided that it was time to go natural again so I headed to the salon and got a brown that was very similar to my hair color. Over time, it faded from a dark brown to a more medium brown, which was fine. However, I could still see my roots very easily and wanted to even it out. I saw the espresso keracolor conditioner at Ulta and thought hey why don't I give it a try. I kept it on in the shower for 5-10 minutes and at first it seemed to look great! Then it started to dry... and I noticed the dark green color that my hair actually was. I shampooed immediately which only made it worse. Now my hair is close to a shamrock green (hey, at least it's almost St. Patrick's Day) and I'm still getting green ... I've seen some people complain about the silver doing nothing and the onyx turning green. As a stylist, you have to literally destroy the hair to get it silver. This product won't do that. Also, if you want it vibrant, just put it on clean, DRY hair for 20 min. You will get results that way with the yellow and muted colors. The onyx is in the name. Most blacks are green based and will show through as this is a semi permanent rinse. This is good for red heads for in betweeen appts as well as brunettes. The silver will never work unless your hair is already been done silver

I dyed my hair a very vibrant red. Despite using color safe shampoo and conditioner and washing my hair in cold water, the color would fade quickly. I was looking for something that would make my color last longer so I bought this and it's a game changer. You can apply it to wet or dry hair, just let it sit for at least ten minutes and then rinse. My color lasted up until I needed to get my roots touched up. I always had people asking me how I kept my hair so vibrant so long after I got it done and this is how. It won't stain your hands either. Now that I'm going back to black hair, I'm going to buy this shampoo in onyx so that I don't need a color touch up that often. This should be a holy grail for anyone with dyed hair and I highly recommend it.

After figuring out how to open the bottle (untwist the pump a little before turning the top to open) and slathering this all over my dry hair I am so impressed. Last week I bleached and dyed my hair copper however it was left blonde because my hair was so dry that the color barely took. I decided to try this mask with my ulta points and my hair is almost exactly the orangey copper I wanted and is so soft. This mask helped so much with frizz and I managed to give myself the best blowout I have ever had. I look like I just walked out of a salon for barely any cost. I definitely recommend this mask to anyone who wants to add vibrancy and shine to their hair but remember to do research on the keratin first!
I bought this product and something made me google the ingredients before I used it because I didn't recognize the plants they list. Turns out the first few are coconut oil and shea butter but they put other latin names for it instead. Then, I get to "prunus amygdalus dulcis oil" and that is ALMOND OIL. Most products have "with almond oil" somewhere on the main label (which they do not) and then to put some random alternative name for almond oil in the ingredients at the end?? SO SUPRISED no one has an allergic reaction yet. Thank god I searched the ingredients before. PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY
There should be a direction to use gloves with this product. It stained my hands a blueberry color that lasted a whole day, and my cuticles are black. Scrubbing did no good at all. It is messy in the shower, too, but comes off readily with bathroom cleaner. If it worked, I might be down to wear gloves and use, but it doesn't blend anything, either, which is why the sale girl showed it to me. All in all a failed experiment. I would not recommend.

I needed something to keep my hair color managed between color appointments so I decided to give this product a try. My color has been fading quickly, so I decided to try this on my hair while it was dry first before using it as a wet conditioner. It was easy to apply and comb through (even though I have extremely thick, fine hair). I left it on for about 30 minutes and washed it out. The color was totally revived. **attached 3 images** Follow the directions on the bottle! I was going for a more solid hold on a vibrant pink for my first attempt. Applied dry; left the product in for 40~ minutes; followed up with a shampoo (color care/protect) & conditioning (just used this product as conditioner as well) routine. washed in warmer water-not hot water (because i wanted pink pink!!!). it turned out SUUUUUPER CUTE! note: 1. deposited WAY better on my treated, blonder hair than my "dirty blonde" natural roots 2. smelled SO good 3. did not damage my hair at all (it's a conditioning product, so duh)! 4. does fade the hotter the water is, but that's expected 5. SOOOOO AFFORDABLE!!! it was, like, $20 when i purchased it Overall- WORTH!! IT!!!!
i use this product after my regular shampoo and i leave it in like the description says, anywhere from 3-20 minutes. in mid february i bleached my whole brunette hair and went full ginger. my hair faded significantly by march and turned into a yellow-orange hue by may. my hair girl bought me this product after we did my touch up and it is a game changer. more than 3 months later and i barely went in for a root touch up and my hair was still VERY orange. roots grew out brown of course but the intensity of the copper lasting this long is all thanks to this product right here. on my second bottle and purchased another color for my lemon yellow front pieces. i have curly hair so i only wash 1-2 times a week with cold water. my hair was definitely dry after taking on all ...
