I have just finished a 6 week treatment with these Genesis ampoules. I noticed immediate results, after the first treatment I had noticeably decreased hair fall whilst brushing and washing my hair. As some have mentioned the delivery method of this product is a little annoying, you have to depress the bottom of the ampoules to release droplets of the serum to your scalp, while this safeguards against accidentally releasing too much serum in one area it also takes 10-15 min to treat your scalp, my index finger muscle starts to ache by the end of the treatment. I have noted other added benefits to the ampoules as well, I only wash my hair every 4 days, and usually find that on my wash days my roots are very oily and my ends are very dry. Using this product has helped balance things out my usual dry ends feel much softer and conditioned while my roots seem less oily on wash days. One major thing to note is that after the 6 weeks, when I had finished the course of treatment it had no lasting effect, my hair fall has resumed to pre treatment amounts. So unless I’m willing to shell out ten bucks a day for this treatment I won’t see any long term benefits.

This product is great for anyone who has problems with hair fall out and breakage. Applying a whole ampoule all over the scalp can take some time and my finger was getting a bit sore at the end. My hair does feel a little greasy after using so I've started applying before bed. In the morning my hair feels great and no longer greasy. I've been using this product for a week now and can say that I've noticed less fall out while I wash/brush my hair. I will definitely continue to use for 6 weeks (the recommended time to use as a cure) and see how my hair turns out. Disappointing

I’ve bought this product and have been applying . Nearly the end now but I have not seen any difference. I used aminexil ampules before and I could see the difference right after the second one . But most importantly, I’ve never seen such an awkward packaging . The little tube is so hard that I cannot squeeze the liquid in it !! I tried many times and finally I cut the full top and poured the liquid around my head . Ridiculous!!! Never buying again !!!

Frustrating to use

While I can't speak about the efficacy of this product since I have only used is 1.5 times, I can say that I would not recommend this product given the packaging. The packaging is designed to release only a drop at a time while you have your finger on the bottom of the ampoule. The first time I used it, it took me 20 minutes to use the entire ampoule. The second time I used it, I only had the patience to use half of it because I was short on time. It doesn't matter how hard you push the bottom, it is designed to only release a drop of the product. I also tried cutting the tip off with scissors but it didn't make the product any easier (quicker) to apply.

Great Product if you found how to squeeze the liquid out

For those of you who didn't read review before purchasing and having difficulty to squeeze out the products, first you will need a needle and lighter. Heat up the needle with lighter and poke holes at the bottom of the tube.It will let the air push the liquid out. You can apply the product onto your scalp after washing your hair. I noticed my baby hair grows back after using 4 tubes. It smells great. The company really needs to improve new tubes design though.

I do hoped for more

I am a regular customer of kerastase products as they exceed most others available. However the disappointment of this product is beyond words. I struggled to get the lid off had two people attempt it. Then to try get the minuscule amount of liquid out of these bottles and it not spreading through my hair. My suggestion is to change this packaging. To charge $80 for 10 then recommended to buy anout 5 it will not be happening and now I feel like I’ve waisted money.

Initially great results, formulation changed

I LOVED the initial formulation of the genesis range. With Aminexil 1.5% in the shampoo too my hair anchored like it hasn’t in years producing a fullness and growth rate I loved. The change in formula had me concerned about why it wasn’t working for me anymore, until I noticed the ingredient change. Still a lovely shampoo, just not quite covering what it used to.

Not so great

I used this product for about 4months as recommended. I saw very little differences. I think it might help people experiencing only seasonal shading. The bottle is also a little weird and very difficult to pour the liquid. My advice is, use the money and go to a dermatologist to get appropriate treatment.

Not worth it

The idea is great on paper, but horrible when you actually use it. You have to press so hard on the button dispenser, and very little comes out! You practically have to waste 10 mins trying to get the solution to flow out. The plastic tube is hard so you can’t even press the sides of it to make it easier. The product itself is meh, no real result. Go back to a traditional pipette- this is a real gimmick! It’s not worth even half the price this commands.

what i learned

At the beginning i found the product so hard to use like everyone else. Took me forever to squeeze. HOWEVER. i realized i have been doing it the wrong way. and once i did it right, the product come out super easily and smoothly. so instead of squeeze the side of the ampule , try this: press the soft bottom of the ampule (it feels like silicone). one gentle press, the product will come out. right away.
