I used this in combination with the rinse out preshampoo from the same brand and also on it's own as well as with other products... pleasant fresh scent that isn't off putting and meshes well with other scents if using other brands. This has a slightly more slimy/mucousy like feeling than other shampoos, but I can't classify it as either "thin" or "thick" in consistency. (If that makes any sense.) 🤔😅 Looks white like hair conditioner, but lathers and performs like a normal shampoo. My hair didn't feel dried out afterwards and I didn't notice extra frizz/flakes that normally accompany other shampoos after a wash/dry. I had more body and volume than with drugstore brands. My hair was shiny and looked a little bit fuller, but it could be a lot softer ( with other products added.) I only wish I had a matching conditioner for this set. I tried to find one and came up with nada so I removed a star. Personally, I think that more products like these should be sold in box sets with matching products that complement the benefits. Maybe a moisturizing serum with something like this with the same fiber benefits? My hair: I haven't touched it with dyes or other chemical processes in over 3 years and I have all new growth for the exception of a few inches. Very dry, curly when wet and mixed curls/wavy when air dried. Sometimes I wash/dry, sometimes I use serums and blow dry, and sometimes I use LOC methods when I want to bring out my natural curl/wave pattern. I rarely straight iron or blow dry because my hair gets too dry.It's in good condition mostly (other than needing a hair cut and my natural disposition of dry frizzy hair in FL humidity.)

Nothing worked on my dry brittle hair, even other Kerastase products meant for dry hair and my hair kept getting dryer and more brittle - I have done a double wash with this shampoo for the past 2 months and it has worked wonders. Pairing with a deep conditioner or masque in the shower I've already seen great results. Looking to get the masque and serum from this line next. The smell is fresh and lasts without being too strong. Love it.

Best shampoo ever

This is the best product I've used în my life and trust me I've used many. When I say it's the best product I refer to the strenght it gives to the hair and stops fall out. According to my hairdresses Olaplex is better because olaplex actually fixes the broken bonds în your hair, whereas this shampoo superficially fixes them. I'm not saying she's wrong but for me it was the other way around. I tried this shampoo after bleaching my hair last year and it did wonders. Not only did my hair not fall at all (literally 0 fallout, insane I know) but it also thickend my hair to double the size within a year. I then thought to myself why not try the other Kerastase ranges - worst decision ever, rubissh. I only found this shampoo to work best and highly and sincerely recommend it!

Best shampoo, ever.

Another phenomenal product from Kerastase. Expensive it is and it's the best shampoo I've ever used. My hair was dry AF and I've tried 100s of products and was about to give in and chop my hair before investing in Kerastase shampoo, conditioner, masque, heat protection and scalp and hair serum & nighy protecting hair with slap cap. Together these products saved my hair. This smells fantastic and leaves hair so soft and hair is stronger, fuller, growing in new hair and looks like completely different hair.

Blonde POC with damaged hair recommends this

To preface: I am a POC with blonde hair. I have been blonde for a few years now. After using this (even after one use), my hair was instantly softer and did not tangle easily. You can even feel the softness right out of the shower.I also use Olaplex ever so often, and although you can feel a slight difference in that, I felt that the effects of this Kerastance Resistance for Severely Damaged Hair line are longer lasting. I will probably try to still use Olaplex in conjunction with this, but less often.So my fellow crunchy hair girls who are waiting for a salon treatment, definitely try out this system.

Brought my hair back to life!!

I was introduced to this shampoo by my colorist after I made the mistake of trying 2 different salons, having moved almost 2 hours away from Austin TX. They were not Kerastase salons! Never again!! My colorist Sarah had been exclusively working with me since 2005. My previous stylist had double processed my hair, (left me under the dryer seemingly forgetting I was processing) used the wrong colors, I was only there for a root touch up but he pulled it all the way through. Game changer

I cannot praise this shampoo and conditioner enough. I have long highlighted hair which is prone to a few split ends. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it so I need something that is nourishing but doesn’t weigh my hair down. I start with the conditioner first, then followed by a shampoo for the best results. My hair is left so soft and manageable and leaves it looking and feeling good. I’ve used this for years! Don’t walk, run to get this!!!

I really value Kerastase

Kerastase is a great product. My hair is damaged due to meds I take for Ulcerative Colitis plus with my age, the hair itseld is changing. Kerastase has strengthened my hair to where it has grown 8 inches. My hair is thicker, shiny, has less breakage and it's long. I have been using Kerastase for 5 years and will continue using it. If your hair is struggling, this product works. All their lines work

Perfect for bleached damaged hair

I have baby fine, thin, bleached hair and this shampoo works so well for me. It has a gentle mix of proteins and amino acids that does a fantastic job of rehabilitating burned-out hair fibers without making the hair brittle. The consistency of the shampoo is very creamy and dense, hair needs to be very wet to activate the foam. Often times I’ll spread it on my hair and add in a little more water on top to make it easier to spread around, but once it’s activated with water I get lots of foam and it does a thorough job of cleaning my scalp without drying out my hair.After this shampoo I use the Kerastase Extentioniste masque (helps hair grow longer) then I use the Resistance serum for severely damaged hair as a leave-in. SAVED my hair

The combination of Resistance Bain Therapiste shampoo, Masque Therapiste, and Serum Therapiste SAVED my hair. I later added Ciment Thermique and saw even more improvement. I had previously been dealing with hair loss and brittleness due to a thyroid condition. In addition, aging (I’m 57) and using heat tools had really taken a toll. My hair looked terrible without using at least some heat to dry and straighten a little. I was able to continue using these methods while still getting improvement all thanks to these products. I normally would not buy such expensive products because I’m not convinced there’s usually much difference, but with these I saw proof and have recommended them to others who have commented on how good my hair looks.
