I received the Argile Equilibrante Hair Clay. I have never used a product like this before. The texture and look is like a soft clay but it lathers like a shampoo. The smell is light and fresh. I have very long hair which tends to be dry mid-shaft down but my roots get oily, especially in the summer. I use this as a system with the Kerastase Specifique Bain Divalent Shampoo and Masque Rehydratant Hair Mask. First I apply this to my wet hair in the shower on the roots first, then you pull it through the rest of your hair. I then follow up with a couple washes of the shampoo followed by the hair mask. Amazing but the fragrance is not for me.

It's an amazingly effective product in an innovative format. It does control oil and adds volume. It's as if it frees each strand at the root, and it's very invigorating to the scalp. You only need a little product to work up a luxurious lather.A couple of things: One, it's very drying so don't use it more than once a week and you HAVE to use a highly moisturizing mask afterwards (I prefer Chronologiste over the Specifique Divalent mask, but my hair is pretty dry). The other thing is the fragrance is just bad. Why you would put rose and menthol together is beyond me. If it had more of an herbal-forward fragrance, it would be perfect.

This stuff is a miracle. I’m using it along with the Potentialiste serum, which I recommend doing. I had instant relief after the first use. I like how it smells, foams, and feels. It makes my scalp feel very clean and rebalanced every time I use it. The cooling sensation feels really nice. It’s not so intense like other products with menthol in them. You don’t need to use very much at a time, so I anticipate that the larger size will last me a good amount of time.

Fantastic product.

I love this product. I love it so much I specifically logged into my account here to write my experience with it. I was quite skeptical at first, so I used it thinking, I will return it if it doesn't work. I was wrong. I have a very greasy scalp, it gets very oily within 12 hours of washing it, without work outs. I have used this product twice on alternate weeks, toggling with the energizing scrub on the other weeks. My scalp is so balanced and my hair style holds for almost 4-5 days between washes. If I have any critique it would be the packaging, I find it difficult from keeping water to get in, you have to wet your hair in the shower before you scoop some of this out. Long hair full of body and healthier

I have been using the shampoo only. I liked how it made my roots less oily. I have long hair and feel the ends are definitely drier than the roots. I only wash my hair twice a week due to this reason. I noticed that my roots showing less oil helps me with my wash routine. I just purchased this set. I started with the hair cleanser. I then used the shampoo followed by the Mask. My hair has more body and looks healthier.

Miracle product for me!

THis stuff is seriously amazing. I have been searching for the past 5 years to find a product that actually cleanses my hair and this is IT! I am never able to get a lather with shampoo and after using this stuff I get the most amazing, cleansing lather with my shampoo. My hair is so much cleaner and softer after using it. Life changer.I use the mask first, then follow with Bain Regenerant shampoo and use the Bain Intense Regenerant hair mask last.

My holy grail shampoo

I’ve struggled for many many years with an extremely itchy scalp & a lot of flaking. Roots get quite oily so that by day 2 i should probably wash and if i push to day 3 my hair looks visibly dirty/greasy, particularly at the roots. my hair texture is coarse and pretty dry. this is the first and only shampoo/product that gets rid of the itch and nearly all the flakes and has drastically improved my overall scalp health. Hair can make it to day 3 and with a great dry shampoo (hello oribe or living proof advanced dry shampoos!) make it through that day looking quite passable. the only problem is that one tub would last me 6 months but by end of month 4 it loses its efficacy and i need to buy a fresh tub. for $50 i wish that wouldn’t happen but when they one day stop ... MoreI’ve struggled for many many years with an extremely itchy scalp & a lot of flaking. I tried this product on its own and with the rest of the Kerastase Specifique system. I did NOT like it on its own. It made my hair extremely dry and felt dirtier somehow. When I used it with the other steps, it made my hair significantly less tangled and a lot softer. It took a lot of each product to fully coat my hair, so be prepared if you have long, curly hair like mine. I do love the way it gives your scalp that clean, tingly feeling. One thing that I didn’t like (this could have been because I received a sample) was that there were no instructions on how to use the products on the packaging. I had to look up the order in which to use them and how to use them.
