was a decent idea. i used the pump about a total of 6 or 7 trips. it starting leaking out of the body 3 months out of warranty. i emailed them and they couldnt do anything as it was out of warranty and offered to sell me another for about $10 off. i rejected this offer as1. its a pretty pathetic offer2. a pump should last longer than just out of its warranty stage and how do i know it wont do it again

Great little pump!I think Kickass missed the mark with the hard to find fittings; I had to hose clamp my hose straight onto the pump which is less than ideal because the L pieces were suited. Good to see the 6L pump in the box has more common fittings - hoping to see this continue to their regular 6L pump in future.

Incorrectly advertised outlet size with poor attachment points. Pump inlet/outlet is a very strange size with pretty average connections. Originally advertised as 10mm, which I see is now changed to 9.5mm. This size is hard to find a good selection of connections and adapters for depending on your intended use. The issue here is that the elbow adaptors actually require an 8mm flexible so I had to change my whole setup and I was reducing from or down to the 10mm already. The pump is compact and capable. However: it has 10mm outputs when most hoses one can source are 12mm. That requires some creative connections to be made, so it doesn't leak. The cables are short and therefore one should be careful when preparing connections, particularly when thinking of an Anderson plug. Overall, I am satisfied with the pump, but I would have preferred longer hose connections at 12mm so that it does not become a chore to try and connect it to a tank for camping purposes.
This pump from Kickass is a bloody beauty! It was so easy to plumb in and connect to our campers sink. I was even able to connect it to an external tap which meant it can also feed our shower. Super awesome! It is a game changer for our camping experience.
Poor quality product and to add to the product it comes with poor quality customer service. I seem to receive more advertising emails than reply’s to my issue with this product. I have had the product installed for just over a month in an air tight and water proof under tray box and I have had multiple failures, including leaks from the pump body and a pressure switch failure. I’m halfway through a 3 month trip and they insist I keep replacing parts rather than a new product being sent out. Their product is causing major headaches as it services my only water tanks onboard. Would not recommend this product and I will continue to follow up until this issue is solved. Has currently been going on for over a week now.
Pump failed to operate and of course just out of warranty!So decided to investigate, dismantled the pump completely found no problem, so it had to be the pressure switch, which is totally in cased in plastic. Decided to grind all the plastic away which revealed a points operating system and of course the points were burnt badly and no contact! I clean the points the best I could, sealed the whole unit back up with waterproof tape and hot melt glue so I could clean the points again if needed.And of course failed when I went away for time camping,So as always you get what you pay for!Cheap unit would not recommend!!!

It’s worth 5 stars at this price. I set it up in my Ute canopy where I have an 80ltr water tank. The elbows it comes with are a pain (makes positioning hard by limiting options), I then found it difficult working with different size hosing to suit the tank, pump, filter then faucet. It all has worked out though. 6ltrs/min is plenty, I love just flicking a switch and having good water flow. It is noisy but most of that is the vibration echoing through the canopy. I suggest following their install guidelines too which hopefully fingers crossed makes this pump last ( most times I regret buying cheap). Great work so far kickass.
I've recently installed 12 volt power into my camper trailer and wanted to upgrade the manual tap from the water tank to a 12 volt on demand pump.The Kickass 6L/ minute pump was the perfect size and really well built.It was an easy install and plumb from the tank to a new tap. works a treat!
