Kicker CSS684 CS-Series 6x8-inch Component Speakers

Non-Sony stereo in this truck. Had a blown speaker in the passenger side door. Bought this and just replaced all of them. Easy to install and was an improvement over stock speakers. Nothing earth shattering, but definitely better fidelity. When taking off the door panels, just pop out the handle and let it dangle. Also for the back doors, pop out the window controls, way easier to disconnect/reconnect the wiring harness since it's such a tight fit.

The included clips had metal prongs that were just slightly too wide for the factory harness inserts. For this reason I had to remove the factory clips and butt splice the wires to the other included wires that connected to the speakers. All in all it was still a very easy installation (perfect size and fit) and they sound amazing! Thank you for a great deal!

Underwhelmed by the sound quality. A little better than stock but thought it'd be night and day. One speaker came defective and the supplied connectors do not work with the truck so be prepared to strip and butt connect the speakers. Had to replace my speakers anyway cause the drivers door one was blown. If I were to do it again I'd go with different cheaper speakers that would likely provide the same quality sound.

Big time upgrade to my already upgraded speakers.

Baltimore to upgrade my speakers in my 2013 Ford f150. Had already installed a pioneer KFC's upgraded those with these kicker component speakers and they are night and days difference. Only negative is they're not easy to hook up if you don't know what you're doing.

Cs kicker pricey but well worth it

If your after quality that works with a decent 4x 50 stereo then these are it. So so impressed. I didnt want to buy cheap so decided to put my hand in my pocket and they are awesome. Very punchy, clear tops from tweeters and a stylish look. They come with many tweeter fitments to fit most cars. And very responsive with virtually no hiss. With dyno mat you wont need a subwoofer. They are well worth the money.

Decent Subwoofer

Good sound for the price. I took away one star because the terminals are pretty flimsy. Connectors were a little tight, & I was afraid of breaking them before I got the wires attached. Otherwise a good value.

Excellent mount for many vehicles

I dont like my phone up in my windshield or clipped to a vent and had trouble finding anything that would hold well down lower. This mount has a very small base and can be mounted in many places out of the way. Magnet is very strong. Only down side is my contact charging was blocked by the large square metal plate on the phone. The smaller round plate is used down lower to allow contact charging again. Both plates are supplied.

Great Fitment and Quality

These fit perfectly in my 2000 Ford Excursion. I had to drill a hole in the door panel to mount the tweeters and angle them properly, but other than that fitment is OEM. Sound quality is great, I have them hooked up to an Alpine 500x4 amp, they crank up louder than my ears like with no noticeable distortion. I would definitely buy these again for any Ford with 6x8 fitment.

Kicker 6"x8" component speakers

These speakers are great. The mids were easy to install, they fit right into the existing speaker openings. The tweeters were more challenging, the crossover measures about 3"x5"x1.5. Finding a space in the door without getting in the way of the window was a little bit of trial and error. The sound quality that you get from a component speakers setup is well worth the time spent on installation. I love the way my speakers sound.

The price is right.

These are better than scoche, and dual, worse than pioneers and kickers. Good in between. Sounds is clean and crisp, I have no complaints. My entire system is autotek, 6.5's, 6x9's and 2 12" dvc subs powered by a Boss PV3700 5 channel. Cheap system with overall decent performance. It won't blow you out of the car but you will feel the music.
