I have been using the facial fuel scrub for about 3 years now and have also tried other brands to compare with during that period but I have always gravitated towards the facial fuel scrub as it does the best job among all others I have tried. My husband used to use Biotherm Homme (sp?) exclusively and then we were unable to get it easily in Australia. For his 40th birthday I thought I would purchase him a pack of Kiehls to join me. He has really enjoyed it, and I'm glad i did it! Cost wise has been cheaper than the previous products and the sizes have been great for the price.

Over the past ten years I’ve experimented with every men’s scrub and found this to be the best. It doesn’t have a chemical smell and feels very natural. It is course enough to really scrub and open up the pores - other brands feel very granular / small and smell like like chemicalsPro tip - use this before you shave to get the hairs to really stand up on your face for a close shave

I'll save you time so maybe you can utilize that extra time to so corporate can contemplate how to make their product how it used to be, without the plastic beads. "Hi there! If these comments over the past four years have been shared and the product hadn't changed. It's that simple. I will continue to purchase the energizer moisturizer until they decide to change that as well. By the way, don't purchase the energizer with SPF, it's very greasy and feels nothing like the original energizer moisturizer cream. My spouse continues to use it, but I can not.Again, as many other consumers have complained, I am one more. My face felt revived and awaken after using this scrub and it truly exfoliated with my pores appearing smaller. I exfoliated with this product after each shave (about three times a week). Now, when I use this product, there's no difference. I would be better off using something found at the local drugstore. The reason why It's taking me this long to write a review about this product is because when it was announced they were changing their scrub, I went around and purchased what was on the shelves whenever I traveled at airports and other cities throughout the country.
Kiehl's is one of if not the best facial scrub I have used. The granularity (if that's a word) is even and abundant. My face afterwards demonstrates how effective the scrub is. The grit and grime, etc., is effectively removed. My skin feels clean, refreshed, invigorated. I know this sounds like a commercial. Love the product. I have been a Kiehl's customer for over fifty years. That's the truth and my endorsement is my attendance over the years.
This is a top notch product that I always want to have on hand. It’s not so tough that I can’t use it back to back days, but it also does a phenomenal job of getting rid of dead skin that flakes off through my beard. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that the formula seems to change fairly often. A size of the large tube can last me a year and when I go to re-order it again there’s always something that’s just a little different the last couple years. It has more of a sand quality now which is so heavy it doesn’t actually go down the drain. It’s minor because the results are still great but I think something to be aware of if you’re considering this product.
This product is no longer a true facial scrub like it says on the front. Bought a new tube last week from sherway gardens Kiehls store and It is more like a soft facial wash.I miss the grittiness it use to have. Been buying this product for years and something definitely has changed unfortunately not for the better.I will sadly no longer be buying this product.
I've been using Kiehl's since 1978 when I used to shop at 14th Street in while in High School. Many different product lines over the years. The facial fuel line for the past 15 or so years has been outstanding and best in class. Unfortunately, they discontinued the after shave. To add further insult someone made the decision to drastically change the quality of the scrub. It is now a touch better than your drugstore scrubs but with a hefty price tag. Way more cream than scrub. I'll be bailing on the scrub and searching for the hits and misses out in the retail world. Save your hard earned money or waste it to concur with my review.
I've been using this for a couple years now, except a couple months when it was out of stock and let me tell you, that sucked. I'd say I have combination skin but exta dry in the winter. This product works better than any other face wash or scrub I've used. It takes and the tough/stubborn dry skin off leaving my face looking and feeling smooth, refreshed, and pores smaller. I hope the price stays the same and it stays in stock, this will continue to be my only face scrub I buy.
