I was hoping for the heavy dose of cinnamon and apple pie that others have described; however, on me, this mostly pulls "sweet." (There are other fragrances which give me a more prominent and recognizable cinnamon note, but they don't belong to the same fragrance family as AS.) I get an overwhelming dose of sugar (similar to a sugar syrup), with a hint of apple pie spice, a sliver of actual apple, and maybe a dash of liqueur thrown in. After a few hours of wear, I definitely detect the "praline" vibe -- which is beautiful and well-done and appealing, don't get me wrong... but it wasn't *exactly* what I was expecting when I read the description of the perfume. I don't get any of the woody aspects (oak or sandalwood) when I wear it. At all. Oh, well; it must be the way this interacts with my skin, I guess. I don't love it, but I definitely don't hate it, and I respect the incredible sillage and projection I experienced. On someone else, this could be amazing -- but, I simply didn't get the complexity I was hoping for when I wore it. (It's not you, Angels' Share... it's me.)

A Boozy Scent Must Have

I have wanted this for several years but just couldn't justify the price tag. Well I bought myself an early Christmas Gift. This perfume does not disappoint at all in my opinion. To me it smells like boujee cocktail lounge or speakeasy that serves up fancy cocktails with only top shelf spirits. Being a bourbon/whiskey girl myself, this is heaven for me! If you are into the boozy vanilla sandalwood sent this is a must have for your collection. For me this is not an everyday wear, but special occasions or date nights. For me I like perfumes I can smell on myself, this lasted for hours. Even when I could no longer smell it, I was getting compliments and individuals asking me about my perfume I was wear all evening. Will purchase again!

Amazing at first. Bottle went bad in less than a year

I fell in love with this scent when I first smelled it. I loved it so much that I ordered a set of the 1.7 fl oz bottle and the most gorgeous travel atomizer as well. I used to get compliments from strangers every time I wore this saying I smelled like heaven. After less than a year, both bottles have gone off, and smell like nothing but perfumer's alcohol and faint "off" apple. I'm totally crushed, as I had so much left, and it was my favorite fragrance of all time. I thought that I had perhaps gone "nose blind" over time, but I had multiple others around whom I barely wore the scent smell it, and they reported that it smelled nothing like it used to. This is one of the best smelling fragrances I have put my nose on. I sprayed it last night, while wearing a tuxedo and had a glass of cognac. It is a magical feel and I wish everyone would try this at some point. It was the first time I worn it and I loved ther smell, but I believe the performance could be better. It is sweet in a very unique, mature way...heavy, while never being over the top...and it will very likely stay with you until you decide to wash it away. I apply perfume with a heavy hand, notoriously. Angels' Share does not require that; it wore on my skin for almost 18 hours. The last incarnation of it that I experienced (again, about 18 hours in) was a quick sniff of my wrist...it had become softer, but remained beautiful and unique. Oh, and I could still smell it on my clothes as I tossed them into my washing machine.This one is an attention getter...you will be complimented and asked what you're wearing, almost guaranteed. But worry not, they've been fun conversations to have!I haven't found a very special perfume to add to my collection in a long time. Angels' Share by Kilian is exactly what I needed.

Literally felt like the luckiest person in the world to receive this as a surprise sample. I originally picked rare beauty liquid blush sample (even after owning the full size product, because who doesn't love samples?) They must've been out of stock of the liquid blush sample so I was sent a sample of this instead and OH BOY was I satisfied! This is now my new favorite perfume! I was a little bummed to see how expensive this was, and I saw they have a discovery set which I might try since even the discovery set is cheaper than this item. The quality is fabulous and ultimately that is what you are paying for. The scent lasts a good portion of the day, I would say 12 hours. It's such an amazing smell! I humbly consider my self a cologne/fragrance connoisseur only because I can appreciate with discrimination and subtleties. For a solid experience, take your fragrance and hit several pressure points. The wrist is my last option but I add it anyway. When you hit the middle of your neck (2X) and the left(2X) and right side(2X) and lastly the insides of the elbows, as your pores open, the scent settles in allowing it to last for 8 plus hours if not all night. I caught myself a little disappointed as I've read reviews prior. However, once the journey of this scent carries on, you're not left smelling like a home&garden air freshener for the house during Christmas. It LINGERS. PERIOD. Even if it isn't your "jam" I promise you 1000% you WILL WEAR THIS and someone is going to notice. This fragrance would smell great on a man, and I would recommend it for a man. For those who prefer feminine fragrances, this is not a safe blind buy.
