LOVE THESE. So easy to make a jar or two of overnight oats for myself or my husband then grab-and-go in the morning knowing that everything I need is right there in the jar. Simple to clean up (though I haven't put the lid in the dishwasher, I prefer to wash that by hand). The wide mouth opening is especially handy. It's a great size to make up a single serve of oats or chia pudding with heaps of room to spare for toppings or being able to stir in extra milk without it all spilling. Great product!

I wasnt sure how to rate this honestly. My first kit had one ceramic weight with a cracked and rough glaze, which I decided would be difficult to ensure sterility. Amazon were impressively helpful and organised a speedy second delivery, for which I am grateful.It is also worth mentioning that this product is listed as having a beechwood lid, I have checked the wording on the product which I ordered and it also says a beechwood lid. The lid is silicone. It is sturdy, easy to get your hand into, takes five heads of cabbage and works like a dream. I use many of Kilners products and I am always pleased with them.

Good design, shame about the lid

I really like this jar, which has plenty of room to add all the ingredients of my overnight oats. The spoon is well-designed and the clip on the side to hold the spoon is useful. Both jar and spoon are dishwasher safe. It’s handy to have the lid as s cover but as a measure it does not work well for me. You are supposed to fill it with oats but if you do, it’s impossible to tip them into the jar without spilling them either side because there is nothing to act as a pouring spout. I have addressed the problem by using a jam jar funnel to avoid mess but that’s why I have only given 4*.

Good enough

I bought this to be able to take some breakfast with me; the jar itself it is excellent quality and sturdy, it has lines for measuring and the rubber that holds the spoon is strong too. The lid tho feels really thin, it could bend easily and have a rubber matt that meant to help sealing the jar, the problem with it it’s that you need to play around with it until find the position for the matt right, otherwise the lid keeps turning and not closing. Overall it is a good product, you just need to try a bit to be able to close it

Great!

The jar has a good capacity for breakfast- quite on the large side. The lid works as a measuring cup which is very helpful and the spoon stays securely in place. Only a couple of downsides- firstly it will leak slightly if you stuff it in your bag and don’t keep it upright. Secondly, if you drop it on the classroom floor whilst you run around getting ready for the day it will smash! But, I guess most people will be more careful!

Overnight Oats Jar

This product is excellent for making overnight oats. The seal functions well and it is easy to clean, and can go in a dish washer. I have had one for many years and purchased this as a replacement (Do not pour boiling water in it).

The glass jar is sturdy and not fragile

This is great for grabbing out of the fridge in the morning and driving to work for eating when I get there. It seals properly so no liquid escaping into my bag. Because it's glass it doesn't get stained, it's sustainable environmentally speaking, and the glass is sturdy enough so you don't feel that it is too fragile for the purpose it's intended for. The spoon is a good size and is a perfect addition to the grab and run breakfast package.

Very handy for use at home and away

I have just bought 2 more after my first one found a new home! Great for marinading finely sliced fennel with orange or apple juice and a dash of oil. A few hours in the fridge and it knocks back the aniseed taste for those who find it too intense. Ideal as snack or with salads, fish or open sandwiches. I find the size is too large for 1 portion but ok for 2 especially if added to fruit, seeds and/or yoghurt. Holder for spoon could be stronger as usually find it comes out of holder even with careful protection when travelling.
