Perfect, attractive vessels for flour, sugar, rice - now all within easy reach and no longer hidden in the pantry. We usually have problems with ants but so far, so good with these Kilner jars. No ants anywhere. Hope it stays that way. Also happy that all 6 jars arrived intact.

These jars are lovely and at the time a bargain. These jars are also surprisingly strong. Two arrived clunking around in an overly large box. Granted they were bubble wrapped. But not enough to stop them rolling and clunking together. I suspect the delivery driver must have realised it was glass and took care. Dont laugh. I received other larger jars at the same time and they were very well packed individually. A noticeable difference.Dont expect airtightness. The seals are loose fitting and getting looser every day. I use them in the kitchen for fast turn around foods flour, dried fruit. They are primarily ornamental and theres nothing wrong with that.

Really lovely item and arrived quickly and safely. However I bought it for biscuit storage but it doesn’t seem airtight and so the biscuits don’t stay fresh. Such a shame.

Lovely jar ...

Attractive, capacious and perfect for the dog?s kibble. The first one I ordered arrived with a chunk out of its lid and the second had a badly cracked lid. I received a refund but the jars themselves are damaged and it is a terrible waste of precious resources to dispose of them, so I?m stuck with trying to find alternative lids. Ocado?s fault, not the manufacturer. Such a shame.

Not a good air tight seal for biscuits or othe off

The seal wasnt great so I put washing capsules in mine. Quite expensive considering I had to take the silicone seal off to use it. Because It kept piping open.

Perfect shape and size

I like this container so much that I will be purchasing another one (or two.) The size, shape and weight are perfect for many uses. The flat, boxy glass handle on top is a nice change from the round ones. This would be fun to give as a gift with homemade cookies or fudge inside! Tie on a bow....and tadaa! Enjoy!

Prefer this to the clip tops

I bought this for my Epsom salts, and the other sizes for other bathroom products for detox baths. Looks really nice in the bathroom. Ordering more for the kitchen. Looks perfect for a large batch of kimchi. Really nice vintage shape. All arrived in perfect condition, other reviewers must have been unlucky. I'm very happy.

I'm sticking with well-sealed glass jars that keep the ants out! It's an attractive shape - only slightly impractical - and I'm glad that a previous reviewer found it airtight. Still, I was disappointed to find moulding marks on the jar where two halves have been stuck together, and sad to find on the sticky label that a brand which started in England nearly 200 years ago, and now comes from Rayware ("A family of vibrant British brands"), was made in China.
