Nothing is perfect so couldn’t give a perfect score but is a good product and after working out how to work I diagnosed my car problem and it was fixed.

Nothing is perfect so couldn’t give a perfect score but is a good product and after working out how to work I diagnosed my car problem and it was fixed.
This scanner was great while it worked. Unfortunately after 5 uses, it no longer works.
Very Basic unit. Would not recommend. Pay the extra for a better unit.
I’m sure it’s good if you have a compatible vehicle. It worked on one of my three. I returned it for the next model up (toolpro I think) and it was a generational shift for about $50 more.
Brought this king Rome scanner on Friday not impressed it said it would work on my 2011 sidi sv6 just says no codes my abs traction control says it’s not working on the dashboard no codes shows up and it keeps blowing the 20 amp fuse for the odd bank injectors new injectors put in car which a mechanic said was wrong with it no joy .so I thought I would buy this to see what code comes up . I give up will get a mechanic to scan it hopefully they will find what is up with commodore and it doesn’t cost thousands .
This unit is very limited to basic diagnostics but is easy to use and any weekend mechanic would find this great for the tool box.
Designed to work on VE Commodore, N/A 01/01 error code every time. Don’t waste your money.
It would read and reset fault codes in a 2001 Holden Astra, but **could not** communicate (Link Error) with a 2016 Subaru Outback. Very easy to use. It was purchased due to the Astra having a check engine light and rough running engine. The OBD scanner indicated a cylinder 3 misfire which I tracked down to water surrounding the spark plug (twin cam) after an engine pressure wash. Cleared out the water which restored smooth engine operation then cleared the fault code.
