Best yet

I've had several Kindle's over the years the last one being an Oasis but I've always loved the paperwhite model, this updated version has to be their best yet. It's comfortable to hold even in one hand, it's fast at opening books and even unlocking the screen with a pin seems faster. If I had to say a downside there is only one and that is the lack of 4G connection. After having it on the Oasis it does make life easier being able to buy or download a book without having to mess about with Wi-Fi connections but this isn't the end of the world in terms of things to be lacking. I also love the USB-C connection and I bought the charging pad/stand which looks great too. Better than I imagined

I've been a regular Kindle user for ten years. But because I'm moving and downsizing massively (primarily books, of which I've now had to discard about half a ton (!), I decided to make the Kindle Signature edition my go-to option for most books. I find the idea of having my library with me on the road really attractive. And I love the Kindle: it's fast, the dictionaries are fantastic, and it feels good in your hand (although I'm getting a case, so that may change). All in all, very pleased. And, as always, with Galaxus service.

Brilliant battery life

Bought a new kindle to replace one ten years old. The difference in battery life is unbelievable. From having to charge the old one every two/ three days this one lasts weeks.As a kindle screen easy to read and adjust. A really good productOnly down side and probably my fault is I hadn't realised screen only black and white. This makes choosing a new book a little bit harder as the book covers down stand out as much. No great problem though and certainly not enough to regret purchase

Brilliant, definitely converted from books

Really impressed with this kindle. Always preferred books however decided to give it a try after receiving vouchers. No way would I go back to books. Really easy to set up, find and buy books. Loads of choice and far cheaper! Screen is great for reading inside / outside, perfect on sunny days to sit outside and read. Very responsive turning pages etc. Extremely user friendly, definitely recommend, excellent value for money

Joy for avid bookworm!

This is my 7th Kindle and so far definitely the best. The battery is so much better than my previous which suits me as I'm a bookworm and devour books at the rate of knots! It also means I can take this Kindle on holiday without having to take a separate charger though it actually has USB connection unlike my previous Kindles. I can read in bed at night without having to put the bedside light on so I don't disturb my partner if I can't sleep. I also purchased the wireless charging dock which is brilliant and sits on my bedside table. It seems very responsive and also has a huge storage capacity so even a bookworm like me shouldn't run out of space to store as many books as I like. All in all I would recommend this Kindle.

Light e reader

Bought after a back injury. Lightweight to hold. Useful text size feature. Easy to use whilst lying flat on your back. No need for bedside lamp to read easily. The percentage read display is useful as it's difficult to gauge how far you are through the book otherwise.I still prefer a paperback if sitting up to read but the kindle is useful when lying down and multiple books stored.

My bedtime reading buddy for library books

I LOVE my Kindle Paperwhite. Its design is perfect for carrying in a small handbag, and holding in my hands. I often read at night, and between the dark mode and automatic brightness features, this is the perfect vehicle for night reading. The battery life is extraordinary, and it has great connectivity for my local library's app, Libby, so I can read library books on it. (I wish it connected to another of my library's apps, Hoopla!) Overall, I highly recommend this product. In addition, this ebay seller had great communication and speedy delivery.

Why did I resist for so long?

I purchased this Kindle to take on a 12 day exploration of the Norwegian coastline. I bought several of the recommended books and have found it invaluable to just pick it up and shut it down as you pass the magnificent scenery. The instructions were easy to follow and I have bought two further books en route. Whilst I cannot imagine my life without paper books, I also cannot imagine why I resisted buying a Kindle as it makes the wonderful pastime of reading so much more pleasurable.
