I ordered 2 of these cards from (a different) supplier, and one received...found they just did not work as they should have. PB Tech were were offering at a good price...so I bought 2. I wanted them for my 2 x 4K video cameras, so was looking for a fast read/write card. These were. Have used each of them a couple of times and am thouroughly enjoying them. They are producing the results i was looking for

Great capacity, and performance. Exactly what I needed for my project with a Raspberry Pi.Heaps of capacity for steamed video and images from cameras and no performance issues.Only downside is, and it's nothing to do with the SDCards, and not really PBTech's problem, but using Aramex as the courier should take be reconsidered - 14+ days to deliver package Palmerston North to Wellington.

Genuine (reflective sticker on tab) Kingston 128Gb Micro SD at a low price (great value). Kingston don't show the memory write speed in tech specs but it sustained 33mb/s when used in an android 10 phone transferring a 1gb file (slightly faster then writing to phone's internal storage). Using it in a USB 2 and 3 card adapter it sustained 22 mb/s, not as fast as I expected but the read speed in the phone and via USB3 is often close to the stated 100mb/s. Tested with h2testw.exe, it is a popular free program to test an SD cards full capacity and it passed. SD card is now working well in the phone and doesn't appearing to be shortening battery life. Overall a good and reliable product and fast enough for it's recommended use.

Both the micro SD card and its adapter work exactly how it should for both my Chromebook and my homebrewed Wii. It is able to store files properly and run them on the Wii via The Homebrew Channel. Condition-wise, it came off exactly as it was described: well-packaged. However, tracking would be nice.

I find Kingston cards to be FAR more reliable than any other make. This is a tested GENUINE Kingston 32gb SDHC card, and excellent value for money. The card is a Kingston Canvas Select Plus 32GB micro SDHC Memory Card and came complete with a full size SD card adapter. I tested its speeds and they are very close to the advertised specifications. I have used Kingston cards and SSDs in the past and found them to be exceptionally reliable Whilst I have had an odd failure with other Big name brands. I now will only use the Kingston brand and have never had a moments problem. Taken that the Kingston cards are very competitive in price and so reliable, why would anyone choose anything else
You know, Ive always considered Kingston to be the second tier SD card provider, but, theyre getting better. I took a chance on these Select Plus cards for a special purpose. Its tough to find the right reader and computer to really tell what speeds a card can reach. Im getting 90MBs READ and 72MBs WRITE on these with a Sony reader and a normal Dell desktop USB3 impressive for how cheap they are. They have been in two Browning game cameras capturing wildlife, 247, at freezing temps, and have dozens of gigs of capture with not a problem. Probably be buying some more.
I bought this specifically for high bandwidth video recoding on the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera BMPCC in CinemaDNG Raw at 1080P 30fps. Many cards only list the read speed up to xxxMBs, but they dont tell you the write speed which is critical for raw video recording. This card is comparable in performance to the much more expensive Scandisk Extreme Pro 95MBs SD cards. And I can confirm it works properly with the original BMPCC, which is very picky about which SD card it supports.I used Blackmagic Disk Speed Test on Macbook Pro to test the read and write speed of this particular card, and here are the results averaged over multiple runs Write speed 83.6MBs Read speed 89.0MBsI shot video at 1080p30 Cinema DNG Raw in the BMPCC OG and there seems to be no ... It has this sort of purple strip down one side and that means that when you put it into an adapter you see that purple strip so you know immediately how it fits into an adapter. I have the 32 Gb card cos it was very a camera that wasn't gonna do much video (video takes more memory usually so a bigger card in terms of Gb). Actually there is only one was it fits into a slot whether camera or adapter, so you can't go wrong really. Kingston has a good reputation so it's a good make; works, stable. Inexpensive too. Steve
It's rather disappointing that the manufacturer Kingston is blatantly lying about the storage capacity. I'll never buy a Kingston device again. The storage capacity of this product is 495129198592 bytes (unformatted), which is about 495 GB == 461 GiB. The product description and also the photo says 512 GB, the actual storage capacity is about 3.3% smaller than that.As a comparison, the storage capacity of a similarly labeled (512 GB) product by a different manufacturer (Samsung) is 512711720960 bytes, which is about 513 GB == 478 GiB.I was able to measure raw device read speed of 94 MB/s == 90 MiB/s. This is about 6% slower than advertised. (I know that software and other hardware components may affect the speed test results, and thus I'm unsure weather this ...
