This Kingston flash drive initially worked fine, but once it was just over a third full, the copy speed plummeted to practically zero. PBTech quickly sent out a replacement (great service!), but it had the same problem. The 32GB and 64GB Kingston DTXM flash drives I bought at the same time all work perfectly fine, so if you need 128GB of storage, get two 64s.

Confirming the review above, initially it works "great".... trying to copy a few GB of data and initially starting ok (estimated time was "4 hours" but...well, ok-ish), then after about 30 min the progress basically stopped and showed 14 hours left... cancelled the job, tried to copy just a few files (about 300MB) speed was down to a crawl, took over 1 hour to get barewly half way.I guess you get what you pay for... beware and stay away from this drive.

In spite of the name, only 3.0 speeds at best. But, good construction and a reliable brand. Connection's price was great and the delivery was quick.

I bought three of these drives in a daily deal bundle. I have tried two of them, and in both cases I received error messages (each drive received a different error message) when attempting to copy files, and Windows 11 is unable to format the drives. There is nothing unusual about my PC. It is a Dell OptiPlex. I have not had similar problems with other flash drives.
Like others, I've used all the usual suspects for USB Flash Drives, but I think Kingston and Lexar are worth the slight price difference over other brands. They have never failed me while some others have. If you care about your data, reliability, and longevity, then Kingston is a good bet.
Pros: Can’t really tell you as they haven’t been used yet but delivery was quicker than expected.
Needed some higher capacity travel storage than the flash drives I have lying while trying to reduce the number of drives it took to store some software and conveniently I got an ad for a sale on these. The price was perfect for what it offered, and everything arrived exactly as shown. The retractable cover feel sturdy enough to protect the usb end from damage in a bag and the rest of the plastic housing feels tough.
I bought several of these to move and archive music files for my band. They work well. I especially like the retractable cover which protects the USB port if I throw it in a backpack, etc.
Perfect device to distribute my content to my customers.Works perfectly great.Will buy again when required
It is not the first time that I bought this brand and I highly recommend it. Good product.
