Pros: Bought Kingston for decades and on some of my old machines they are still working perfectly.Cons: None! But if Samsung manufacture RAM modules as good as their SSD's I'll try Samsung modules next time.

First time loading Synology will warn about using a product that is not theirs and compatibility blah blah blah. But my server is using the ram fine. Up to 18GB recognized and used right way. Who on earth is going to pay ~$500 for Synology ram? Don't, get this ram instead :)

I installed this in my DS920+ and it has been working flawlessly for a month. I now have 20GB of RAM
I'm pleased with the memory option I've purchased. I've not had any failure or anomaly-type issues occur from updating with this memory module, and it has made a measurable difference in the functionality of my laptop. Though I had found a different memory module from another competitor as an upgrade option for my laptop series, from the research I did this module was listed as the compatible option for my Acer Aspire 5 A515-56-54KJ.
This laptop has 1 socket of 8GB, so you need to take it out and install the new memory. Needed a reset (long click shutdown button) for it to boot from sleep mode.
This product works fine, I bought it for my HP mobile workstation and the quality is good as expected. I would recommend it to those who needs replacing or updating their laptop memory.
Upgraded memory on late 2018 Mac mini. After complicated breakdown of the mini, this memory installed easily and was recognized by the Mac is just fine. Now have 32 g RAM
