I was lucky the item so far working after a week of used. I am so disappointed how the seller pack the product! So so poor on packaging! to think that the product worth is expensive. Bought it in 13k 4tb nvme ssd and package its like a 200 pesos worth of product, so disappointed! What make it worst, the ninja van delivery guy lost the package because he cannot find it in their inventory. Because of this the delivery was delayed 1 day just for them to look for the package. I even reported it to ninja van customer service because of this incident. The delivery guy told me that he was not expecting that the price to be paid is not as what they have expected to look like, package was too small and the reason they could not easily find it. I feel ripped off, though I recognise that the fault was mine.I purchased 3 of these drives, happily thinkng that the "500GB" meant as it usually does, 512GB. But no! These drives are only 500GB and my Intel branded old 512GB drive will NOT clone onto them. This sucks!!!Why wuld a manufacturer not follow the "standard" where 1k - 1,024; 1GB = 1,024GB etc.I know... the drives are clearly labelled as 500GB but, for as long as I can remember, 500 was just shorthand for 512.My 998,144,733,184 byte HDD, which is really 929GB, is called (for convenience) a 1TB drive.Sizes used to be easy: 1k = 1,024 2k = 2,048 4k = 4,096, 8k = 8,192 16k = 16,384So now, because I followed convention and "assumed" that 500GB = 512GB, I am landed with 3 useless pieces of junk that I ... MoreI feel ripped off, though I recognise that the fault was mine.I purchased 3 of these drives, happily thinkng that the "500GB" meant as it usually does, 512GB. It wasn't their fault that Kingston "rounded down" on the convention.BE WARNED! Half a Terabyte is NOT equal to 500GB which is not equal to 512GB.Kingston sucks! My feet will walk away from them. Why have Kingston, which used to be a reputable brand, changed the convention?

I got this for a gaming laptop, It’s very expensive compared to a real mechanical hard drive. Sad thing is the laptop was returned as it had issues with the screen opening and the amount of pressure it was placing on the screen. Now got a Acer Nitro 5 with a 3050 and i5 11th gen 11400h and 32gb storageThis laptop has space for 2xM.2 drives plus a Sata drive too. So didn’t have to buy this one 😂😂Been a certain age and eyes been eyes. I couldn’t use a steam deck comfortablySo got the Nitro for £350 used upped the ram to 32gb added the £200 4tb to the existing 512 hard drive and it works out a similar price to the 1tb Oled Steam DeckSo can technically play more games as it’s windows 11Total cost with used ram etc £570Yes it has to be plugged in most the time. ... MoreI got this for a gaming laptop, It’s very expensive compared to a real mechanical hard drive.
