First, I cannot fault the service and delivery. However the KA toaster is absolutely annoying and had I known I would not have purchased a toaster that has a high pitched beep when lowering and when finishing. The toasting is very slow, my previous R. Hobbs was ten times faster - I timed it! Also, the idiots who designed such a poor weak plastic dial that you turn to determine the digital read out really should be sacked. Then add the plastic adhesive warning label glued to the cord that required multiple sprays and a scourer to remove the residue. Overall product poor. AO Company is brilliant would buy from them again, but never a KA toaster.

I did a lot of research before deciding on the Artisan toaster. It has lived up to its reputation. It toasts evenly on both sides. (First time I have found a toaster to do this). The automatic lowering and lifting is a great feature. Contrary to what many people have said I do not find the sound of the “beep” too loud when the toast is done. I love my new toaster and can recommend it.

I would recommend to someone who is fully hearing impaired. My husband has 70% loss in each ear and it is still too loud. This wakes him up when he's in bed - opposite side of the house with the doors closed! I wonder if Kitchenaid could find a more obnoxious sound to use, not only when your toasted item is finished, but when to press the start button too! I appreciate the thought, but I know when I've pushed a button. I've started the kitchen faucet, the microwave, anything just to ease the sound, but nothing masks it. I paid a good deal of money for a toaster that is too rude (yes, I think it is rude) to use. The toast was decent. Most times it was even, but at times lighter on one side than the other. I could have lived with periodic slightly uneven toast had not ... MoreI would recommend to someone who is fully hearing impaired. My husband has 70% loss in each ear and it is still too loud. I could have lived with periodic slightly uneven toast had not not been for the shrill ear piercing sound alerting you when you've pushed the button to start the toaster (why?). It ends with not one, but three shrill, ear piercing, curl your toes sounds. My dog howls when we used (past tense) this machine...I kid you not! You may think I am exaggerating the annoyance of this toaster, but I assure you I am not adding additional drama to our experience. I took it apart in an attempt to disarm it, but must of disarmed the wrong thing. It stopped toasting and was trashed...thank heavens!source kitchenaid.com

Bought this toaster several weeks ago and love it. It aytumatically drops the toast, no pushing down. Then it beeps when the toast is done. Easy to toast crumpets too. Very very happy.
Great toaster - toasts everything perfectly. It is easy to use and a trusted brand. I now look forward to having evenly cooked toast every morning. This toaster also looks great and would compliment any kitchen. It feels solid and well built with all the features I could need.
Stylish, well made machine. Good value for money for high end toaster. Only thing stopping me from giving a 5⭐️ rating was that it takes longer to toast than my last Kitchenaid toaster, I shall have to cultivate some patience…
This is the best toaster I’ve ever had. It actually toasts the bread evenly on both sides. Wow. I like the way it beeps when it’s ready.I love it
This is the best toaster ever. So easy and precise. Perfectly monitors and cooks bread to the optimum shade for all our fussy family members who choose to indulge. Spent many dollars on cheap toasters but I decided to bite the bullet and really get serious as we were all tired of burnt offerings for toast. Love love love my new Kitchen aid toaster. I am a big fan of Kitchenaid appliances. Many thanks for a quality product 🙏🙏🙏🙏Fiona from Orange NSW
This is by far the worst toaster I have ever owned in my life (65 years). It takes ages, by that I mean 4-5 minutes to toast minimum. It beeps when lowering and when done - why does it need to beep when lowering the carrier? The RH toaster at $60 was brilliant - If I hadn't wasted $200 I'd chuck it and start over. As it stands it is a lemon. Stay away you have been warned.
I bought this one on line and within a few days I was toasting again. I prefer the automatic option for toaster , for me this makes sense. The last kitchen Aid automatic toaster I had gave up after 10 years of everyday use , so it was a no brainer to replace it with the same.
