I purchased this attachment because the standard enamel beater had a lot of chips - very poor quality. This stainless beater should come as the standard attachment.

Very recent acquisition and only used once - but a dream come true. I made a crumble for a dessert and it was so easy. No longer do I have to rub butter into the ingredients with my arthritic fingers. It was all done in 5 minutes maximum - and so easy to clean up afterwards. Looking forward to further discoveries with the beater!! Thank you KitchenAid!!
Much better than the enamel coated beater as my old one has white enamel flaking off. The stainless steel one is pricier but is great quality. Highly recommended
Wish I had know about this attachment sooner - we have replaced the coated k beater 4 times because the coating chips off. Get rid of the coated one & just offer the stainless steel! So pleased I can put it in the dishwasher too 😉
Such a great tool, love that it’s heavy and gives a good beat to my cakes mixes and buttercream. Such a great step up to the rubber paddle beater. Highly recommend, such a great investment. Arrived on time too.
I needed a new beater as my machine is well over 15years old and after reading reviews, i went with the stainless steel beater. im happy i did. It mixes well, its a bit heavier then the standard one, the finish on the beater is good, i handwash the beater, but thats my preference. Will definately have to buy the stainless steel dough hook next.
My family bought me a KitchenAid stand mixer a few years ago. Unfortunately, at that time, there were only the enamel covered beaters available and these chipped rather easily. Consequently, I was always concerned about finding hard pieces of enamel in my baking. Imagine how thrilled I was to discover that there are now stainless steel beaters - dishwasher proof, solid, virtually unbreakable! These are truly where it is at if you want beaters that will probably outlast every other part. No more enamel chips in my baking! Simply awesome!
Much better than the coated one that came with the mixer, same for the dough hook. Have replaced both with stainless steel models as the white coating was coming off in use, probably in the pizza dough over time. These should be original equipment, as the mixer is top class, but the supplied coated beaters are short of the mark.
